Can anyone tell me what are these? What are they used for?

But the way they are used in example projects... they just do nothing!

And I've seen "audio lines" drawn through merge module.

Like here: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=3&12

These modules don't make any sense to me.

the direct play allows you to hear cw synths with no latency in xtc mode.

Yeah... the Merger merges all dsp devices to a common ASIO Dest, so they can be recorded. The DirectPlayMixerContainer hosts devices which bypass VST host mixer (see Direct modes on XTC devices) and also thruputs the ASIO input. The container sends those directly to the selected monitoring output.

I have a strong feeling that merger is just for naming inputs and outputs in sequencer, so that it isn't ASIO2 or something, but it's just L Merge and R Merge.

Can someone confirm this?
