The computer will probably re-detect the card but will then go off an re-install the sfp drivers using the inf file already installed on your computer. As far as the SFP application software, you shouldn't need to re-install.
If I plan on swapping board's slots, I first delete the boards from Device Manager. This makes sure the boards are properly re-detected. Once the devices are reinstalled, SFP should open just like before...
at0mic has a good point there, i moved my network card around once (irq-issues) and device manager displayed it as "3com network card #2" , "3com network card #3" and so on.
so remove the cards in device manager, switch pci, turn on computer, rock on!
