http://www.asus.com/mb/socket423/p4t/specification.htm
*i'm using p4 1.4 processor(400Mhz system bus,423 pin package,box.....
*Ram - RD400 Mhz, 512Mb
But the problem is on Bios setup "cpu front side bus frequency = 100 and max 120!!!
it should be 400Mhz... So is there anyone using the same mobo can tell how this happen!

Í'm not an expert on this, but I think you are doing the exact same mistake than myself, cos you think these speeds mast match, but in fact, they have to be the exact half of real speed on your CPU.

Chek it out, or somebody else please tell us if I'm wrong. Anyway, I've given you a point to search.

On Intel Mobo's there is not a doubler of the FSB like on Athlon based mobo's (i.e. 2x133 = 266), but instead it quadrouples the FSB speed (4x100mhz = 400mhz).

So 100mhz should be right afaik..

Don't worry, sleep tight

As aMo says, the 100MHz is a base frequency. RAM & CPU frequencies are multiples of that.

100 & 133MHz still are FSB standards, in these GHz times!

PS. If you can set any freq. in the range 100-120MHz in your BIOS, setting to higher value is one way to overclock the machine.
