Thank you Ali and Creamware for your attention.
I'm sorry if some of you were offended by the way this post evolved.
Now the contact between Creamware and Maomusique can be established.

For this end of the year 2005, I wish to all of you nice (holy-)days - full of joy !

I speak only of truths, but this is far from the time to debate Christianity & the rest of the worlds' religeon's Gods'.

If you need a God & have found one you're happy with, then good for good old brainwashed you.

Sorry Paul, I refuse to bite on this at this time of year, as I do not wish to start wars. Maybe we can discuss religeon at a later date.

Preferably much later

Hey Shroomz, I don't take your comment personally in any way, I am used to this kind of attitude, so no grudge here. However, I think I should state my point of view, for the sake of PZ's harmony.

At first I chose not to reply to such a stupid comment, but on secont thought I think it would not be wise to let this pass without clarification.

First, as a newcomer you might not know that there are quite a few long-term valued members of this community with strong faith in God and Higher Powers. I am one of them. We've had lengthy discussions on those topics a few years back, most of which were constructive and harmonious, some were tumultuous.

So here's my point: if you can't use restraint and be respectful of others with values that differ from yours, if you can't put a leash on your critical arrogant attitude, I respectfully suggest that you think twice before pressing 'submit' on your posts. I am grateful to you for your constructive collaboration on the forums, but frankly, for your own peace's sake, avoid voicing such stupid things when it comes to people's spiritual convictions.

So, the logical attitude for you now would be to apologize, not to me personally, but to the community for spitting your condemnation and somewhat hateful ridiculous comments about things you obviously know nothing about. If you persist in your antagonistic attitude then I'll see that measures are taken for you to comply with the friendly vibe which exits here, thank to the constructive general attitude of the members.

I hope that you understand my point of view and that we can be friends  Take care,

Etienne

Praise Ala & Budha & all that some modern day natzis would see burned, bombed & butchered if they sat on a few million barrels of oil.

There is just no need to talk like this. I have seen first-hand a lot of hatred and selfishness dealt out by people who were more than willing to tell everyone of their great faith, etc. I agree that ignorance makes people do a lot of ugly things. But to equate ANY religious or spiritual belief with brainwashing, I feel is also made of ignorance (if possible, don't take this personally). The fact that you are nauseated by the hypocrisy of a lot of people who call themselves 'religious' indicates that you too are aware of a higher moral standard, that is not being lived up to.

p.s. I think the Christmas season has more to do with ancient winter celebrations than the birth of someone who is believed to have been actually born in the spring. I enjoy the time together with family and loved ones, but I don't take it particularly seriously. I actually find it odd that the fundamentalists are protesting 'attacks on Christmas' - I honestly would have expected them to be the first to attack it, because, strictly speaking, it's not related to Christianity at all. That's why the Puritans banned it.

Seasons Greetings, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, to all! What was this thread about anyways?

Been there, done that. Got the T-shirt.

Wait a minute, I don't have a T-shirt. Why the heck isn't Creamware filling this market gap?

Wow! How could I not see that before?

THIS IS FANTASTIC, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

Honestly, I think this should have been done quite a long time ago, not specifically, but some gesture of the like.

I understand that behind the beauty of this forum, there is also a responsability, and this is alwyas that makes you think and be aware of. If there are problems, John have to solve them, no body else.

It is more than just that Creamware finally did it.

I now can open a secret I have under my skin, because is already done: about three years ago, I wrote a formal letter to all the Creamware Team around the world, asking to surrpor Planet Z commercially, as the forum does much, much more than helping useres... it is in fact, the BIGGEST advertsment Creamware could ever have. EVerybody knows that nothing is stronger or more effective than what the public says about a product. If the public condemns the product, the produc simply, desapears... If the public is exated about it, the product increases it sales and becomes important. This is a fact absolutely proven.

This forum is today, the most important FACE to the public that Creamware Audio could ever have. This has been build through the most compelling real interest in ART, MUSIC and TECHNOLOGY. I have know here a group of truly amazing people. The more the time goes by, the more I realise how lucky I am of having been here... and of course, of having a Pulsar.

A site as huge as this one, must have quite a fe clicks to do every week, I guess, so very well deserved.

I have also to say that I admire the way John has handled difficult moments through the years. We can remember the DXL case, (it's not a file, it's a guy ) and of course, the terrible Lifechanger "the one who never changed life at all". He has always being polite and correct, handling things intelligently.

WE HAVE A GREAT WEB MASTER

Long life to Planet Z!

John, you shuld start teaching your two girls how to write HTML, as this is going to be here for a long, long time... Yeeeeeehhhaaaa!!!

Did I miss something about politics or religion. Why didn't someone tell me??

Are these elitists telling us there's no God again.
Could I please remind them on what Human behaviour was like before religion, which is synonymous with civilisation.

What do you people, who don't believe in God do anyway? You just tell us how to make money and exploit people who do then tell us about UFO's and superior intelligence.
You sound just like the fakes that say they are religious but don't know the first thing about it.

Please if you are going to knock religion you've come to the wrong person. This one is very clever.

BTW why do you always talk about the bad these so called religious factions do when they are really not religious but part of militant extremes.I'm not talking about any religion in particular here because they all have a label next to them.

Please tell me what you mean by a God anyway.

If you study psychology then you'll know that the Human mind needs something to believe in otherwise it cannot motivate.Call it what you like.

"Opium of the people" what bloody fools these people of power are they really think they're Gods but they all end up six foot under.Very laughable.

One last thought...Is it compassion that gives you the energy to help fellow man or money?

This is off the main topic,

But as a long time student of religion, history
psycology and many other related topics, I would be really interested in seein and participating in a discussion about religions with the folks here. Obviously, in a good natured and well mannered way. I hate argument.

would anyone here be offended if I started a thread on this suject in the off topic forum. More to the point would anyone reply to such a thread??
I ask as I am truly interested in learning about the beliefs of others, as well as sharing some of my views.
In good intentioned, debates that way everyone learns somthing new from the experience

Cheers

just for fun...
the atheist critic don;t say that there is no god, it isn't a critic about the myth. Religion decayed without any help back at 16th century. The atheist critic says that ethic and civilization is constructed by humans. There isn;t any debate about the existance of some myths. The myths did exist. Modern philosophy struggles to create a new unity myth. They offer pure pragmatism. And the consumer myth. What do you offer?

Go ahead, do it man ! I'll post there.

One of my favorite cd I'd bring to a deserted place (if there would be electricity there of course...) is Handel's Messiah.
Don't know if it's one of your relatives, but it's very good and inspired....
