otherwise I'd be ending up doing the melody, the structure (text) and you guys play the instruments? sure but this would not exactly be a collective collaboration would it? Tell you what, Marcus, lets hear what you did already and if you can, jam on wayne's last loop which is also very very good. Then I will pick this and figure out (or grab it as is) some melody/lyrics that we can use afterward to get this thing moving

Peace

Righto, then, seems a theme is needed soon. I'll sleep on that, maybe quite a bit

Good holiday, Legros? Was there a beach?

allright, i realise that this thing has to move otherwise it'll die and plan to improvise some vocals on it. trouble is i'm pretty depressed right now (met a girl in la rochelle and we had a real good time but i know there is little chance that we meet again)and am into a pretty progressive melodic violent kind of rock and roll song called twenty five roses (i will post it once it is finished and copyright secured)so.... i will try to shit somthin before next tuesday after which i'll be away for 4 days in belgium... and in the mean time you guys feel free to take over, there are some pretty good loops to jam on

BTW any good techno places to hang out over in Bruxelle?

be sure to check 'fuse' in bruxelles. lots of underground stuff as well, but you gotta find them (ya know, mobile numbers on flyers...), belgium is small: ghent (imho technocity n° 1 here), and antwerp (more house) are a 45 minute drive away from bruxelles.
haven't been out much lately though...

Oops, I didn't do the loopz up to now due to lack of time (in my "spare" time (= as main-job) I work as an insurance-broker, and there is lots to do @the mo').
But over the weekend there will shure be some time to create sum. I'll upload them at last on monday to yahoo-groups and kturn.
Sorry for delay.
Afterwards, I'll post sum suggestions about the ongoing.

I've deleted my loops from the servers (I've gotten carried away & made songs out of those particular ones) - but plenty more where that came from if this happens sometime

Sorry to see those loops go Wayne - they were great! Will we get to hear what they've become?

Bit disappointing how this project seems to have died...

Be patient, project didn't die.
Just f***ing lot of work to do for a living, but in about 2 weeks I have holidays and can do the loopz.
Expect sum mp3 + sts3000-prgs + midi-files soon.
Sorry I promised to make some ready before. They WILL come.

hello, folks, and greetings from Perth, Western Australia, where it's pissing down with rain - i think winter has sort of arrived, although it's not cold yet. Well, there's your weather report. Scintillating, no?

I uploaded a simple loop to
Legros' Collective , have a go !

well, i would really love to also, but this 'legros collective' is not working for me...Can't go trhu the registration, always something with the form. They're asking for too much. I won't go thru all those boring questions.
Hey Wayne!!! Would you upload some of your loops in a zip here? In the music thread? Or maybe doing something with a kinda 'closer cooperation' (ex.: email transfers? you can pm me here on planetZ)
I'm free to do something anyway! I've been practicing alot of bass clarinet lately!
I can even trow in a guitar track or 2!

Anyway, it's true we have to do something...

There you go, 3 loops on the music forum.
2 are the ones I deleted before (cos i started to do something with them myself), but after more thought on the matter I reckon we could just develop 1 or more of them anyway, no matter

Other gentlefolk still out there? Wanna rock?

				CoOl Paul!
Now i feel something will happen

So, do you think the clarinet 'fit' with the beat? I know the sound is not too bad, but what about musicaly?

If someone could send me a semi-formal structure to the tune, I will assemble it and see what I can do.
On first audition, your clarinet seems a little too loose though. I will be able to confirm when I get the stuff together.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Marcus!

Assemble or add to it any which way, Paul.
Would it be best for me to seperate the parts?
as it stands it's a simple 78bpm 16 bars of 4 loop (8 C, 8Eb). Each half has drums, 2 basses & guitar.
Marcus - lovely tone you're getting there

Perhaps jam with it a little more, its very laid-back, so slide off the back of your chair a bit, maybe go for shorter fat little blobs of sound, have a beer

It might be easier if you get the bare beds to work with, too. Did you get an email from me?
Hey Legros, callippo, borg, zounds, you out there?
