I don't hold any hopes on SoS. They were supposed to review Solaris, but they never did.

They did do a huge mass of CW stuff in one sitting, I think people would be suspicious that serious money changed hands. If they do pick it up again, they'll wait until after they've done more Powercore and UAD reviews so as to be thorough and balanced.

I have faith. They're a very responsible magazine and really care about not being too biased or proslyetizing a brand.

Hi!
Adern has exceded its bandwidth limit.
and it is down today.
i have bought abother 2gb of bandwidth to close the month, and also another mirror server for the future. the server should be avilable again tomorrow.

altho this is a bit frustrating, it also is good news since it means that alot of people have d/led flexor. and this is the time to thank you guys for your support and rections to flexor!
im glad you like it, and this gives us a great deal of encouregement for creating more and more modules and patches.

Thanks!!

It's great that you have a quote from Astral Projection on the Adern site. That is one of my favorite groups of all time!

Hi,

(Blatant plug mode ON) - Did you know you can use most of Adern's new Flexor modules in any of my semi-modular (tm) synths? Just load the appropriate Template for oscs, filters, or effects (sorry, at this time envelope modules are not supported), and then load the desired Flexor modules (be sure to switch Flexor modules to polyphonic mode to match your synth settings). Also, you can use any of the shapers to affect the oscillators by loading them in a semi-modular filter slot.

Semi-modulars include the Solaris, Red Dwarf EX, Rotor 48RD, Rotor Jr., and Dark Star v3.0.

(Blatant plug mode OFF)

Cheers,
John b.

John, I just can't make it work ! :???:

By default when right-clicking on the filter slot for example, it points towards effects stereo, so I copied Flexor's filters and shapers there, when I try to insert a shaper for instance, I've got : invalid module ( sorry-only insert effects can be used here ! )

By appropriate template, you mean a modular shell ? a mini patch with for instance audio in towards shapers and filters, polyout and audio out for a shape and filter " effect " ?

Thanks in advance !

Decimator,
I mean, you have to load in one of the Modular Templates from my RD Module series, which open up as Modular Windows.
For current RD Module series owners, there are 4 distinct ModularWindow modules, called Templates, which they can use:

modular-filters rd.mdl
modular-fx rd.mdl
modular-gate&tmod rd.mdl
modular-pw&frequency rd.mdl

Their uses are specific - for filters, effects, envelopes, or oscillators.

For Solaris, you can already load the Flexor modules in either Modular Oscillator section.

For the Dark Star v3.0, and any RD slot in Solaris (except for the Modular Oscillator windows as mentioned), you can't use the current RD Module series Templates to make presets - and these I am updating soon.

I hope that clarifies things a bit..

regards,
jb
