Never heard anything like this ! Didnṫ know that SFP was capable of this, after listening to EDS8i or EDS16.

Just Awesome !

Would it be to much to ask to build a device kinda like Waldorf Attack ?

Wouldn'ṫ mind paying some hard earned money for that.

The Plasma is an outstanding drum synth. My monitors start cowering every time they see me load it. How about a revised version of that one too. The only thing I would change is the old preset format. Heres an idea! How about Wavelength's greatest hits. 3 or 4 of the now shareware devices with new preset lists. If there is only minimal recoding involved I think there may be some people out there like me who would spend a little extra money just for that feature.

i have been considering doing another drumbox for SFP/XTC. to recode the "plasma" for the new preset list standard, etc, would be really like redoing the whole synth... it is a rather intensive process, actually. if i do something in this way again, i'll not copy an old design, but take things "up a notch" like I'm trying to do with my "uberPLASTIC". thanks for your kind words, btw!

Thanks for that, I'm using it once in a while and it sure rocks bigtime.

No bad comments, just something I noticed: is it just me, not tweaking the knobs enough ?, when I listen to Plasma's clap, toms and the snares, they just sound a bit too metallic to me. On the otherhand, this also occured to me, when I was using the EDS8i.

I guess it's just me, and the sound I'm after. But for ther rest it sure creates some wicked sounds.

Thanks
Ronald

i think you will find that the drumVOX is quite different, in this regard, as the algorithm is much more robust than any of the single drum-strips on the plasma... just that you have to load them one at a time + they like to eat DSP. i had originally designed the plasma to be very "fakey/electro"-sounding (although thumping). the drumVOX is capable of more sophisticated (and even more acoustic) drum-timbres.
