Re: planetZ Christmas Special
Merry Christmas to everyone.
"Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!"

Hmmm, okay - I'll stop now.

I trust in your judgement. Thought about buying it for years!stardust wrote:Just had solaris 5.0 in my hand for a while now.
Gents if you miss it now, the bright side will never win.
John Bowen made it a real gem.
I can get 6+ voices where it was 3 or 4 before.
Solaris plugin became a must for scope.

Re: planetZ Christmas Special
yep, bought the solaris 5.0, too. There were some dsp-files missing in the first package i've got. nevertheless, some presets worked. all i can say so far, this dog hunts!! really, wow!!! i've never heard anything that fat like solaris, not even close!! best synth by miles! forget the rest, you don't need anything else
i've no idea why i didn't buy V4 earlier... unfortunately i can't upload some demo mp3s, will not be in my studio before next year...
so yes, it is a must have synth for scope, indeed.
cheers

Pretty smooth AT curve.
My AT curves suck so bad I have to use Expression pedals.
Whatchya using?

Re: planetZ Christmas Special
My big cheap peices of shit work well for the meat & poatatoes, but lack any elagant features like AT / PAT.
I'll let you know how the VAX77 is.
Solaris has PAT capabilties according to JB but I haven't had a keybed w/ that for years.
Good Job Stardust.
