Then why are you even debating Scope 5 and Xite?
It's always nice to spend some redundant time on being negative, isn't it?

I've got no idea whether I bought Scope 4.5 or not..It's been a while... I've got the Scope 4.5 software running. When I check my registry I've got keys for Scope 4.0 including the Mix'n'Master Pack 2. I've got the vague impression that I got that mixing pack when I upgraded to Scope 4.5 but I'm not sure.
I really would like to know if I qualify for a free upgrade to Scope 5. And more importantly, if I can still get the upgraded Vista/XP drivers even when I don't qualify!

do you have an SBC key?
do you have two 4.0 keys?
if so, you have 4.5.
as to whether you will be able to use the driver regarless, in the past, the answer would definitely be "yes". no one but S/C knows the answer to that one yet, and i doubt if anyone else will know until 5.0 is released and somebody tries.....

The answers are 'yes' and 'yes', so I'm good for 5.0.

You are good for 5.0 if you are in "rules" from SonicCore website.

yes but it is that easy:
you have SBC key -> you bought 4.5 -> you'll get 5.0 for free.
that is the rules on the SC website, only in other words.

unless you bought the SBC as a plug, then there are several possibilities again

really?? you can buy the sbc? where? you mean over plugin transfer? sorry, i didn't want to cause more confusion

anyway, if you don't know it, there is enough time
after the musikmesse to ask SC, they should know it

Well I'm sure version 5 will be nice but they ought to make the SFP Vista compatible for everyone. To not so so is very poor customer relations.

well, see it this way, you pay for the update, and you get Vista for free, would that help?

Actually I didn't realize how much the exchange rate has changed. It is not too expensive, only a little more than an OEM Vista Home Premium. Is 5 going to be the same price as 4.5?
"or you buy SCOPE 4.5 up from the 1st of january 2008"
I guess they meant to say "if you bought SCOPE 4.5 after the 1st of January 2008"
They need to hire someone who speaks English. Maybe Ralf wrote that.

You need to learn to read what is trying to be communicated instead of thinking you understand what is written.

maybe the language issues are just a sign that there not many good arguments are left...
btw, braincell, it was possible several times to get the update for a reduced price (I think 50% off) during the so called <whatever> sales periods.
that's what I did twice, and I don't feel all bad about it. got a MM pack for my XTC for buck.
maybe you just wait for another sale.
nevertheless, the free update for 5.0 will also give me useless stuff I wouldn't want to pay for. vista support, for instance.
well, there's always the other side of the medal... and not to forget the half empty glass...

What does "up from the first of january" mean???
I am a native English speaker and I have never heard this phrase! Does it mean after the 1st or does it mean until the 1st? Does this mean anyone who wants to get the free 5 upgrade can no longer get it? The page was poorly written. Please can an American answer me in non-broken English?
