I think "V5" mean in fact "5-5",that stand for "2055"...

Somebody said to me that the new drivers would not be compatible with the current plugs as minimax, prodissey etc. it is true? :o

no.
the driver is the least of the platform. a driver only lets the hardware commmunicate with the os. the plugins are code that runs on the dsps, which has nothing to do with the driver.

what you heard is that a certain plugin package from a chinese distributor won't run on v5. this is true.
