and one of the top sides of scope.... :D

actually you can also integrate the scope fx into an outboard mixer without bigger problems, whereas it wouldn`t be a bit more difficult and sometimes hardly posssible with native vst stuff....

I like it when people dismiss what they don't use (and don't even understand).

Please please SonicCore, if you ever update Scope (yeah right...), don't ditch the XTC mode !! Instead, fix the bugs and add a mixed simultaneous mode XTC/SFP.

YES! mixed mode please! XTC mode is much faster, work wise, in my opinion! and then with the flexiblity of SFP!YES!.. oh well... lets stop dreaming and make music :D

they dropped XTC mode allready. giving more focus on this or even developing a mixed mode would probably just ensure them a decade of new support problems.

I'm beginning to see this post as an extremely useful customer feedback for the guys at SonicCore, assuming they'll decide to have a look here at the z for future developing plans.
IMHO a new generation of PCI-e cards would be a real strike on the pro audio market.
There is a lot of stuff out there, like Presonus, M-Audio, Edirol and Digidesign itself with a strong public image. Nothing to compare about scope stuff anyway on the power and quality side. (Well, pro tools is a powerful beast indeed, but how much you have to spend for a performing system?)
I think SC lacks of a real and winning marketing policy.
More customers=more money.
More money=more possibilities to develop some new great stuff.

A poll on this topic would be useful, don't you think?

hi
another vote for the mixed mode XTC integration ;
a new VDAT device for stereo recording;
and a Tripledat sequencer audio/midi or only audio up to 96khz 32bit with support of a VST host, i would like to replace wavelab, with a native Scope dsp editing software, just a dream :D

the soup is already cooked guys, the plans were made already...about 3/4 year ago or so at least...if you ask me :-)
SC, small as it is, will concentrate on the essential elements to survive, Vista in the first place.
XTC? at best like it is already, that's what I think.

In the Year Of Our Lord 2008..............

The Warrioirs of SFP found themselves surrounded by hordes of M$ VSTi's, Intel OctaCore CPU's, and suck ass soldiers of the Vista 64bit Armies.

B.Gates sent Steve Jobs as a messenger with terms of surrender.....................

"Give Us The Body Of Ralf, and we shall let SFP survive as a VST plug in using Vista 64bit drivers."

The SFP warriors replied......" We Stay with our King. "

Jobs laughingly replied..." Then our arrows shall block out the sun !! "

SFP warriors replied......" Then we shall fight in the shade. "

The SFP warrioirs were then then slaughtered by hails of arrows.

A statue of Ralf now stands in Seiberg, Germany where the plaque below reads..............................

Go Now Stranger, And Tell The Flexorians We Lay Here Obedient To Their Laws.

Speaking of strangers, how is it that this absentee member of the Z can call the boys up at SonicCore and retrieve vital information that the distributors aren't even privvy to?

Thanks for your post anyway. We would prefer the message straight from the " horses mouth " however.

you got that wrong Jimmy - the town is called Siegburg
which would translate to Victoryburg :P
not far from the Rhine area where our ancient heroes were supposed to live
the gold, the maidens, dwarfs and swords, giants, the valkyries
fighting spirits and a god cheating in contracts
maybe it's electronic valhalla, maybe the castle will stand strong and firm

cheers, Tom

OT: Tom, did you see the Valkyrie from Aix-en-Provence on TV with the Berlin Philharmonic? What an incredible performance! BTW, the Wotan from this performance, Willard White, is the Porgy from a Porgy-and-Bess-record I bought ca. 30 years ago...

Is Sonic Core still in the same building, or are they located in a different place now?

the fall of scope..... :D

its nice to see the explosion already going whereas the sound wave explosion needs about 1,5 seconds to arrive the mic.

So you can calculate how many metres the cam is away. :)
