Strange that nobody even thought of suggesting this:

Zarg has such a great reputation that I believe you should not change the name.

Just continue to build on your success, John.

I wish my royalties hadn't gone down so much because I would have Solaris in my system for sure!

I vote Zarg :)
Are we listening?..

good one Paul :-)
Zarg says nothing in it's own, and it says all when it's famous!
A name won't accelerate that status, quality does :-)
Zarg is well known, compared to any name, so if Creamware soon turns to be runned by a major company (my guess), I would say stay on Zarg, as it's a brand already :-)
Give my number to Paul :-D

Still I would like to know who would've been the winner of that other contest... ;-)
Com'on John, it's about honour :-D

Dear Forum users and contributors to this contest (and thread),
MANY THANKS for your participation! The contest is over.

Shroomz said, he didn't know why I asked for suggestions on this Forum, but for me it's an honor to be involved with such passionate and supportive users, many of whom are Zarg Music customers.

It was also encouraging to see the several postings expressing enthusiasm for my products and name. This is very much appreciated!

As for future plans....I can only say, all will be revealed at Frankfurt Messe!

cheers,
john bowen

Hubird,
Sorry to disappoint you, but I never picked a final name, so what can I say?

That was just a joke John :) (Sorry, it was poor timing for a joke.)
but for me it's an honor to be involved with such passionate and supportive users, many of whom are Zarg Music customers.

I couldn't agree with you more on that point. !!

My proposal is simply based on my experience of job in the advertising and marketing.
It's obvious that a new name can give new psychological rush to the entrepreneur, but to use a name already affirmed guarantees an immediate success and once of inferior amortization of costs & benefits, or he immediately enters the active sale/profit phase.
Also the press will react in faster way to spread the news of this new activity of John.
Capitalize your professional history... use the echo of your "childeren" like Prophet5, Wavestation and Solaris...

4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.
