Worked fine on my system. It has a nice smooth sound to it. Excellent design for the interface too.

ECC83SIMB1.dsp is part of the basic 4.5 install (just peeked in the zip archiv), but you still may not be entitled to distribute it (due to copyright).

Copyright isn't limited to monetary values (or advantages), it's also about control over the distribution channel.
For example someone could (ab)use these files (or files pretending to be from CWA) to distribute malware which might damage the company's reputation etc..
...I wouldn't repack the archive, tho

No. Dsp's aren't useful if a device doesn't load them, key protected devices can't be loaded anyway if you don't have the keys.

You can make a free device with anything you have in sdk, you can (must) include all the components you used.

A good way is to include all dsp files used for a device all the times in the package. This is not against your agreement.
It isn't written anywhere that you can't.

latest beta version (v0.5) is available on the first post of the thread.
-Download now contains mono & stereo versions of the device.

Dear Shroomz while I really enjoy playing with your great ecc83 device could I ask something very big ??
The following preset of your device is a subtle but reminds of analog tape effect.
This is a small change in sound but if yoyu add it on many tracks the result will be smooooth...

Please make a simple device from your ecc83 with only input and output !!

I suggest that this device has no interface at all to be simple and easy to do like a pulsar module with input and output only !!
Can you please do that for "us" ??
Sorryy I am saying for us but I hope that many will like this subtle but fully analog effect !!

TO MAKE IT a little easier and maybe subtle nicer !!! use 0 db as input with low setting 2 o'clock reso 12 o;clock tube drive (the second of course) and as output 2 db.

So to summarize:
Please use low setting at 0 input as on your last 0.5 version device, then NO tube drive 1 , as reso around 2 o'clock and second tube drive exactly at 12 o'clock, as output level please use 2 db to compensate.

Much thanks for this device. I'm running my latest remix through it right now to smooth out some transients and bring up the bottom end. Great work, just the kind of thing I've been looking for to improve ITB mixes.

Dimitrios, attached to this post you'll find your requested special edition tube filter. I've given it a quick little gui so that we have bypass & mono/stereo buttons. Your suggested settings are really subtle sounding. Very nice !!

Also to make it a little more usable for the rest of pulsar users can you please raise the tube drive of stage 2 from 12 'o'clock to 2 o'clock?

Dear Shroomz there is a 6 device limit until I get dsp overload message and nothing can solve this thereafter...
I have three Pulsar cards two pulsar II and one Pro total 27 dsps !
Can we do something ? Maybe it has the dsp load limit you put on your mixer ?
We don't need that here...
I would like to be able to load 24 inmstances and maybe more !!

Dimitrios I've updated the TubeWarmer attachment above. The download now contains 3 versions (versions for board 0, 1 & 2) & I've updated it with your new suggested settings. I think it's best to define board ID as it gives more flexibility & will also prevent an instance of a stereo device like this spreading itself accross boards, which isn't particularly good practice as far as I know.

I'd appreciate if you could check your 6th loaded instance of this new version for phase alignment, as I've removed the 'on same dsp' restriction. I would imagine there may well be phase issues having done that, but I've not had time to test it properly yet.

Keep the requests coming btw. I don't see them as demands at all. Mostly I'll see what I can do to implement requests or suggestions if they make sense, which yours mostly DO so far

About presets .... I've been wondering when someone might ask for them
NONE of my devices have presets yet & I will not even consider to add them until the circuit designs are 100% finished. It will be quicker for me to build any of these devices from scratch to their finished state including presets than it would be to p*ss about with presets for 9 or 10 beta versions per device & end up with buggy preset handling & having to rebuild them anyway.

Ok, the change is no problem, but we need to check for phase issues first.

The good news is that without any error messages I can load 25 of those warmers onto 14 dsps, 9 onto 6 & 5 onto 3. Considering that each instance could be used for 2 mono channels, thats a lot of channels (78 on our 23 dsps)

Can you please also make your mixer a simpler device like your tubewarmer ??
It needs only inputs and outputs (direct no mix) and FULL DRIVE control !!
Th is mixer sounds amazingly good with full drive on everything I put.
Only if we can compensate for gain so as to have about equal gain before and after the mixerwarmer !!!
That would be great just great.
You can also add more channels because it is lighter ??

Thank you Shroomz for the nice device! On an empty project, I can load 20 instances of the Tube Warmer on my 2 Pulsar II.

I'd like too the output of the Tube Warmer to be the same in loudness as its input. Now, when it processes the sound sounds louder.

Would a mono version of the Warmer eat less DSP? If yes, then it would be nice to have it in Mono and Stereo versions. That way one could load it in mono or stereo mixer channels. Also, you wouldn't have to build the device I requested in the Device Wishlist.. One could achieve it by using the CW AuxRack and your Tube Warmer.

So for me two things are requested:
- a separate mono and separate stereo version
- equal loudness of output to the input

P.S. How can I help to check the phase you say?.. Is it only with the 6th instance? All 10 instances that I load on one Pulsar are phase coherent, except the 6th one?

It's just that I thought the 6th instance might spread accross dsps, but things are looking up because Scope does indeed seem to have a very smart allocation algo at play when <1dsp modules aren't assigned to load on 1 dsp (IE they seem to get loaded on 1 dsp anyway).

I've already made an 8-ch version of a single VM-42 channel with all the controls. The circuit & gui are in place and just need connected up, which I'll do over the weekend. As I said to rodos, the 8-ch strip is what the VM-42 started out as.

I'll calibrate the warmer's I/O stages & make a mono version. I was planning to make a mono version anyway once the device was finalised
