Hey,
Braincell : Im sorry to hear that. You cant even use the lite version?
Others : Unfortunately, I haven't sold that many reverbs - around 135 total (p100/a100/i100). And the reverbs are quite demanding regarding PCI/DSP. I will probably not release any reverbs right now on the Scope platform - I cant even get access to the new version of Scope DP.
Cheers

The lite does not work. I hope they will work when I get an AMD 64 or replace the type 1 cards with type 2.

But I will try on other platforms. The first version is CSR-1.

I agree with cannonball.
It's very sad to hear this.
To me the p100 is the best reverb I've heard and it would be very sad to see Warp69 move to another platform not because his sales aren't ok, but because of lack of support from Creamware. What's going on??!!
Is there any chance Warp you might reconcider staying as an SFP developer?

lack of support by CWA ???
there was a demo of the P100 and anyone (in need of a good reverb) who didn't realize this as the steal of the year (even more when the ChorusDelay was 'bundled') is, well... let's say not exactly the brightest mind.
I don't really care, but the only thing that s*cks in this context is the inability of people to do their very own decision - driven by their ears and not by fancy ads and brands. Lemmings.
cheers, Tom
ps: Warp69, if you keep your quality level I'd even buy your stuff as VSTI

Warp 69, I hope your plans for SFP are on hold not on give up !

One thing I don't understand is that you said once the H100 and CH100 were done so why not release them ?

Well it won't change dramatically the numbers of sales but be sure many will buy them ( me included ).
I didn't buy so far the A100 and I100 because I missed the extra algo page of the P100 so the A100 and I100 were less enticing, will buy them ... but without the feeling of " instant must buy " I had when I first tested the P100 and all the various additionnal tweaks that can be done with that page.
If you divide the numbers of views of the thread by the numbers of replies, you've got 50 for what's worth and you've sold nearly 3 times more ...
On this thread :
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 46&start=0 you have a ratio of 43 for approximately the same number of potential buyers.
If you go VST, my guess is that you'll have trouble reaching 100 sales with many 10 000 happy cracks users but I think you know that !
Furthermore I doubt you can achieve the same sound quality natively as here so no purchase from me !
Ik Multimedia has announced a CSR-1 emul for Q3 by the way ...
If you go Digidesign, sure you can charge more and larger customers base and can expect better support than CWA or at least permanent exposure and not only an annoucement ...
But you'll be drowned among many other plugs as well and maybe customers lethargy ... this to say I understand you're rightfully disappointed but the grass could also be not that much greener elsewhere.
If you had some data on numbers of demo downloads by type / sales timewise could be worth to do some chart, slow progression or stagnation ?
I guess I'am not only one to buy by " needs " : I bought the P100 since I hadn't a decent verb so I could live for a while without A100/I100, bought a lot of Celmo's recently, bought new monitors ( that hurts more financially ) it's long term ...
That said I don't fully understand that Flexor has 3 times more users than you since not everybody is into modular stuff whereas most everybody I guess would like to have a good verb in its arsenal furthermore Timeworks is known outside the Scope world more than Adern ...
Too much delivery delays troubles on this thread that don't really help, PCI / DSP and the such issues ? sooner or later that should be less of a problem so that could only go better, I understand you're pissed about the unavailable SDK and would like to deeper and better as for me I'am enthusiastic about the present awesome sound quality !

I think it's Timeworks that's not done Warp any favours.I had to search here and there to buy his first plugin.
Just about to buy his second one.
I feel that developers are thinking that native is catching up that's why they're not interested anymore.
I love the whole Scope thing and am trying to help.

Hey,
@decimator : I have no idea why the Princeton reverb haven't received better sales....... I find it very strange. Im aware of piracy on the vst platform, but I dont have high hopes for that platform. I hope its totally different on the TDM/AU platform.
I'll continue the development on Scope DP atm (I might switch to Eventide H8000).
Regarding the demo downloads : nearly 4000 have downloaded the P100.
@Music Manic : I have NO complains regarding Sonic Timeworks - We have a good relationship.
Kind regards

Ah, I didn't suspect you know the Ik Multimedia verb that well !

I agree that the weak number of potential buyers of the Princeton verb is odd, I remember vaguely groupbuy of VSTi's going in the 150-200 range as comparison ...
Thanks for the info about the number of demos downloads that would mean most CWA users have tried it, considering the most affordable price and high quality, my guess by reading some posts is that maybe a lot of customers would like to load X instances without any troubles or limitations unfortunately for now ...

Personally I put better / more interesting sound even if it sucks the ressources upon hassles to deal with the consequences but it's me ...
Glad you'll stay around here in the meantime and again if you have something right now completed or near completed, please just release it to bag some tens of more sales !

I'am sure some people are waiting for the H100, CH100 ...

yes, only my poverty has stopped me from buying your devices...

I bought the P100, but am less than impressed (*much* less, in fact) with Sonic TimeWorks. Sent an email to Chris a week ago because my P-100 stopped working -- probably something to do with the fact that I swapped a new board in for an old one a while ago, but I'm not 100% sure what's wrong. I haven't heard a peep in return. So I've got a $99 useless plugin on my hands right now. And no response or support from the company I bought it from.
I'm sorry to hear you're leaving the CreamWare world, warp. You made one helluva great reverb. But quite frankly with the treatment I got from STW at the beginning, when I bought P-100, and now that I'm asking for a little support and getting nothing in return, I won't be buying any more of your devices as long as you're selling them through STW.
$0.02,

Hi! I am testing the newly bought p100 Plugs and there“s something odd. The "PCI Lite" sounds definitvely more dense than the "Lite" version (with same parameter settings of course). It just seems to me that the "Lite pci" has more delaylines then the "lite". Could it be that just the naming of the two devices got mixed up?
The plug is true stereo? How do u use it then in the mixer (since all aux sends beeing mono)?

Can't DL P-100 demo. What's on?

Wow, that was fast:
Purchased P-100 yesterday and got the download link and aktivation key today within 24 hours!
Now one question: Why the dry/wet mix slider is allways at the maximum in all presets? The best results you get anywhere in between!

that way the amount of reverb is most easily controlled by the mixer's fx return(bus).
You usually will want to record the dry signal and the FX on separate tracks, in case you need to change it later.
Due to it's resource demand this reverb is more effective in a bus-type setup than as a channel insert.
For creativity's sake you should do what your ears suggest (just listen carefully...) a lot of that stuff spread with varying parameters through the mix is suspective to blur the sound instead of giving it deepth and bliss
cheers, Tom

The typical use for a reverb is in the aux fx loop on a mixer, so that's the proper setting. Other settings using it as an insert are too much dependent from the particular situation, making all presets 50%50% isn't too useful.
