as to the piano, he pretty much is the father of that New Orleans style. he's the Mozart of poor southern kids, or one of them, plus when he played, he often kicked in the piano front while keeping time(the front of the piano as a bass drum). that music is from a pretty loud and bawdy environment...drunks, whores, and Mardi Gras...

Seriously good music that Flying Lotus is playing so far. Highly recommended listening.

Velvet Revolver - Libertad. Through a Scope limiter set at -12dB and the ECC83 Tube Filter. Adds some really cool fatness to any Audio CD, mp3 etc.

I saw Velvet Revolver at the Download Fest in 2007. F*cking good band! I know that the frontman (at the time - is he still singing for them?) was in a big US band before, but I can't remember which one. Really honest, no-nonsense, good ol' rock and roll. Very Guns n Roses (obviously!), but without the bullshit - just very entertaining, and clearly enjoying it!
