Thank you for your feedback regarding the voice setting problem on B2003.
What happened (until the demo expired) was that I would for example play and hold a bass chord with the sustain pedal and in addition I would try and perform a simple slow melody. After the first or second note of the melody nothing new would sound.
The voice setting option in the demo was disabled which I suspect is normal.
I have a pulsarII (and love it!) and I haven't had any problems with any other synth.
I want to get this thing, so I hope the problem is just with the demo.
Thanks again
B-2003 has arrived

As a Mac user without a demo (hint, hint Frank!) i just jumped in and bought it. Wow i love this thing. Apart from the actual organ itself though i am using the external audio in the most, adding Leslie, vibrato and tube distortion to my M-Tron Mellotron sounds and also to guitars and well just about everything really. i've gone Leslie mad. Maybe i'll just put my whole mixes through this thing!
The only thing i would like to see is perhaps a Mic distance knob as well as the Separation knob.
Recommended as an effect and an instrument.

I hope CW won't launch a " code wars " with native ( CPU based ) developpers otherwise we may have plenty of duplicates ...
When something " new " ? I love vintage but I also love balance ( at times !
)
Although third parties ( bless them ! ) balance the overall Creamware based products ...
Could have you pulled a Python Pro ?
Sorry to ruin the thread !

one of the reasons I bought the Python Pro was it's ability to fake vintage epianos
But I agree that innovative synths are important, though unfortunately it's the 'bread and butter' sounds that make the cash flow.
No trance without supersaw, no rock without hammond, no jazz without rhodes and nothing at all without minimoog
The NI B4 yielded highest results in reviews, some really big ones with people involved who own a vintage B3.
Would be interesting to hear them now...
Imho it's a justified project if everyone wants these sounds and you can push the limit significantly.
just my 2 cents, tom

Alright, we just need good Rhodes & Clav emulations in SFP format now. Up until now I thought the Emagic B3 emulation was the best. I was going to buy the set of three ontil the B2003 showed up. I agree that the emulation thing is getting a little old but there are a few essentials that need to be touched on. I think a clav, e piano, & Mellotron are probably the only ones that shoud be bothered with though. Although an LA2A, and a Fairchild emulation would be snazzy!

i've been using B-2003 for a bit now, does anyone else find this a problem:
When i load a preset it defaults the MIDI channels back to 1,2 and 3, whereas i prefer to split them over one MIDI channel using one keyboard. So am i supposed to now go through all the presets and resave them with my preferred MIDI channel? That seems dumb to me as the MIDI channel i use will almost certainly be different for each project, and what if i have two instances? This should really work like other devices where loading a preset does not change the MIDI channel.
As an aside i would like to see perhaps a Vox Continental/Farfisa switch just to cover a few extra sounds.
As to a piano device i believe CW are working on one. i would prefer a device that did say Rhodes, Wurlitzers, Yamaha CP-30 and the somewhat forgotten RMI rather than just a Rhodes emulator.

B2003, briliiant. Coming from a keys player (as well as trumpet). Huge sound. And the different MIDI channels per manual work perfectly with my master keyboards and pedal board.
Please bring out a Wurli and Rhodes.
Then perhaps the best sounding concert grand piano on the planet.
That's all. Not asking too much am I?
