well, I tried to demo it but I can't get any sound out of it. It did produce sound for about 5 seconds though.

Okay I just read about the 3 minute demo timeout...3 minute?! Is this for real? How am I supposed to try out a device in 3 minutes? Take away the time you need to set up some sound sources and you're left with...right, 5 seconds (okay I'm a bit slow, but still).

Maybe I'm doing something else wrong though, but if not, sorry it seems like a great device but a 3 minute demo is way too short for me.

Sorry about the short timeout!

We had intended for the Creamware shop to include the full 1-hour demo (creamware shop-style demo), but Creamware is too busy with Noah to prepate those right now.

Our apologies, but hopefully soon you'll get an hour demo!

Also another heads up--- due to some bugs that have shown up on Mac OS 9.2.2, we're revising the status of Vorb to be "PC Only, Mac version coming soon!"

We're awaiting Creamware's assistance on this - apparently it's a bug in SFP/Mac. Unfortunately, they're saying again that they won't have any time to help for awhile because they're busy with Noah.

Frustrating for us, and for Vorb/Mac enthusiasts - but good news for everyone waiting on Noah though

Any Mac users who have purchased Vorb and are having troubles will be gladly provided a refund if they choose not to wait for a fix.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

C'mon, what kind of human resource management do they have at Creamware? I think it's quite stupid to devote so much time to one thing that they even haven't the time to prepare and put up a demo device. If this Noah thing won't be finished soon, it'll be their downfall.

Vorb users!

if any of you guys have excel installed, we have prepared a Vorb Spectrum Scan Calculator, to calculate your own Spectrum Scans in prime numbers!
prime numbers in vocoders , avoid rings and give a nicer scan than usual.

its simple to use, and has a help section inside.

An Amazing Device!

The Vorb sounds totally different than the Creamware Vocoder. You can tweak it to sound in so many different colors, the options are endless. The Formant XY Control gives you an even better realtime creativity and versatility; This baby talks! Way the go, Orbitone!

I would also like to mention the internal waveform-synth engine, which makes it easy to get started quickly, without the need of routing a 2nd synth device. This can also save DSP.

Not to mention the beautiful interface panel - I wish i had a piece of gear that looks like it in my real 19" rack...
...I'm such a show off
