please include some high quality MP3's (or even WAV's) so those of us interested in the device's saturated tube tones can get more of a feel for things!

the distorted sounds in the beginning sound very "sticky" and nice with a very distinct and clear tone, not too much variation between the sounds though..
i hope you put up more mp3's with something else than dokken and ratt riffs.
gotta hear some more styles, played on different guitars and played by different guitarists.

however, so far the amper sure sounds phatt!

In these Demos no preamp was used, the guitare is plug directly into the Cinch input of the Scope .
The guitar is and old Charvel CH6.

I will put some other style/sound in futurs MP3.
But for now we are still busy working on the sound.

Thanks for your comment

How about some demos with no heavy effects? I would like to hear just how the amp modeling sounds with out all the other effects mudding things up.

And - definitely some more types of sounds. There isn't much variety in the sounds right now.

hi jeezs,

sorry for being off topic BUT where's that nice rumor section  was there a reason to exclude it from the new design ?
I've seen it anyway, pm if it's offensive

cheers, tom

I will place some new demos next week , those MP3 were only a quick and dirt demos of what Amper is able of.

As requested in this forum I'll make some demos using only a raw soundof the tube (though it is already the case for some Mp3 on our site)
I will also make some demosshowing the different type of Amp included in the basic package

but as I already said, we need to concentrate our effort improvind the overall sound and feel.
We want Amper to sound like no other Amp simulator.

And again thanks for your interest in our product

Answering to Astroman.
Dunno how you succeed to enter this prerelease version of our site, how did you do that?

In fact, we don't have the time to manage a site with news , rumours etc..
that's why we have deleted these sections.
As soon as Amper and a few other products will be released, those sections will reappear on our server

hi jeezs,

I just clicked the link above and then some of the menu items. The site sometimes reacted a bit strange, but that's understandable, if it was a prerelease version during a test phase.
So let's just keep it as it is.
What made me wonder is the overwhelming resonance you got (before the demos where out) without actually giving any details about the processing of the amp.
Some info about the emulation strategies would be nice.

cheers, tom

The sounds are very impressive! How about some saturated tube surf rock style stuff with thick reverb in the example sounds? That is where emulations like the POD (which I have) fail. However, the sounds so far are definately superior to a POD! Great work!

Also maybe some more saample bluesy tones with less distortion and more saturated tubes. Can you tell I am excited by the prospect of a very good virtual tube sound for guitar?

The device is ready now,but we have at least different design of the Amp, we have to make a choice now.
We also have to add some presets.
our initial plans was to release the device this week , but it will be delay to the next week.

This thing looks and sounds great, that is my impression at least. If this turns out good then I might use it for all of my guitar work. The good thing about DSP stuff is the low latency, so you could even use this thing as a preamp.

Also, it is interesting that you can just connect the guitar directly to one of your pulsar inputs, that way all the preamplification will be done by the software.

Only some days left now, I Oguess .

I would definitely like to work with a demo version before purchasing. I can't really tell from the MP3 demos whether or not I like it. I need to really try it and play through it with my own guitar.

Definitely.
