Oh. Can't you just use ch changer?catscratch wrote:Thanks for the vat info.
Not to go off topic too much, but Mattomat still (x years later) only works on midi channel 1... not fine for me. This ruined my experience with that device and I have never touch it since. Yes, there are work-arounds, but this left a very bad taste in my mouth to this dayThe developer doesn't seem to give a sh*t, so why should I? You say "newer" so maybe it was fixed but I never received word of this if it is so...

Quite frankly, I had been looking for a trance gate I can use live, and the gateway device will take that role. I already built a few, on modular, on an axoloti and on the Nord G2, but they're not so immediate to use with my live setup, and stuff like the Boss SE20 pedal is too expensive and with a different set of features than I need. This just works out of the box. Haven't had any issues like the ones some reported. Also nice that it retriggers on each note on, makes it quite easy to program different step lengths / resolutions. Also easy to stop
I wish it had a couple more features, like different AD settings for each channel, and a LP/HP filter on the master output, or better, one for each channel, with independent (or related, say link or invert channels for example) frequency / resonance / env settings. But I can add that in Scope, just would be nice to have in one device.
One thing I haven't tried is to MIDI map the step toggles... Would that work? Would be great to be able to create the pattern in real timeIf not there's always that Preset Recall device I keep forgetting the name of.
Your right it's great how swiftly faxi fixed the shruti supreme issue on xitecatscratch wrote:Oh. Can't you just use ch changer?
Sure, as I said, there are work arounds. I think the first experience you have with a device is important and developers need to be aware this. It can leave a very bad taste when things go wrong. That's all I'm saying.
With faxi's devs my experience has only been positive and he has an active (proactive?) roll when there are problems which means so very much. Some developers leave you feeling abandoned once they have your money in their hand. One might be a brilliant developer/technician but have zero skills dealing with people. You need both to succeed in life.
Sorry, my bad, just realized I have the same problem here (on XITE). Changing the triggers updates the gui, but not the behaviour of the trance gate.Liquid EDGE wrote:

Ah ok thanks for clearing that up Gary.garyb wrote:others have purchased without shipping. it's something that the shop likes to do. i'll alert the forces to fix it.
a refund wouldn't involve currency exchange it would just reverse part of the transaction.
