You could always make one, set it up & post a link in place of your comment. :)
would be much easier if i was at home, but we'll see what happens when i get there :)

It's probably not worth it to be honest. I completely agree that a torrent download would have been a good option for distributing a 200Mb file, but then again with all the bad press that torrent sites are getting these days, I wonder if it really is a sensible option for a professional audio manufacturer, when most audio software companies are campaigning against their software being illegally distributed via file sharing. It's one that's rather debatable.

Yep, its a shame people are so ignorant. It has no more connection with piracy than zip files has,it saves bandwith, usually makes downloads faster and you can pause/resume etc.

And by the way, you wouldnt need to upload your files to piratebay or whatnot. you can paste a link in an email, in a forum or on your own homepage for that matter. its a file format, not a crime, but i guess it will take a long time before people realize that.

For fun, video of installing Scope 5
it stops when i had to reboot
Then on reboot it asked for keys, so i am waiting
http://www.spacef-devices.com/02-SC-DOW ... E-5RC.html

The installer is pretty nice, there is a list of devices that you can choose to install or not...

You can see I changed pathes of install, and the name of the shortcut group but that's just me (I always prefer to have Scope on my C:\ drive rather than anywhere else, it made it always easier to go in the scope install folder to install files, copy/paste, backup etc).

Just a teaser, I couldn't resist :D

BB flashback software (BB is probably for "BlackBox :-) )
http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/bbflashback.aspx

Reboot is done, and now I am waiting for the keys, I've sent them to Ralf first by mistake (old habits... ) and just resent to "register at ...

I have to go out a bit and will be back in an hour or so, may be the keys will be there so i can start the app (for the moment, it doesn't want to start as it waits for activation key for Scope 5 itself)....

Are all those Devices & FX & Mixers included standard w/ 5.0 or are some, extra you have to buy, if you have not bought them yet?

There's also the DAS SL 9000 in the effects/EQ folder (now known as SC-SL9000). It's a really good channel strip (although I preffer the DAS C350 :D )

bye bye Duende

On the synth side, our beloved prophet clone has gone back from Pro-12 to Profit 5. Lightwave has made V5, and is now 30 kb smaller than the previous version :)

I don't remember the full plugin tree from mehdi's video, but I think you get what you have licensed with 4.5 (meaning both M&M and S&S packs for a 14dsp card, and one of them for a 6dsp card), but no prodyssey and sixstring if you have no key for it.
there's room for enhancements still, but then, it's not a final release. there are several plugins missing (like sts5000 as a single install, or protone), but I'm sure they will fix that, provided we give feedback ;)
