				I do agree with Firubby;
undubtely better sound or better...
a better "sound quality transfer" between the board and Cubase, I think it is ASIO !!
These boards sound for me pretty fine.
I enter in my Scope with an RME converter but when recorded in Cubase, the marvellous sound monitored from the board , loose a lot of power and definition.

couple of days back i compare with protools hd sound with mine.
Digidesign hd converter vs mini me apogee
audio technique mic vs akg c414 b-uls
protoos 7.?? vs sonar 6.2
digidesign hd cards vs pulsar 2
48khz 24bit vs 44.1khz 16bit (final product is cd)
waves plug vs sfp,bx,kompressor,optimaster etc
i put the same voice artiest as they did but mine one is 10% behind and i want to fill with xite-1..... thats what im thinking

and it sound a bit smooth and a bit loud.... can we make it with XITE?

Since SC promised SCP5 to be available "soon" and this announcement has been there now for only six months, I guess it's unfair to expect SCP5 really be available anywhere before next Xmas.

i'm pretty sure it will be.

it's closer than you think....afaik, it could be released now, but there are a few finishing touches to be made. i don't think it can be done any faster than it can be done. you do want it thouroughly tested, with a minimum of bugs, right?

Actually no. Here comes the declaration:
Dear SonicCore,
i therefore announce that I would rather receive the SCP5 today with all it's bugs and mistakes and thus offer my free contribution to finishing the product if it in any way helps it to be ready sooner.
I just annoyed. Been waiting for it 6 months. AND, been waiting for my new Q9450 for three months now. Hell, when do they finish these products? I thought software is crazy business, but I see the hardware isn'r perfect either.

Q9450 came, SCP5 did not. Well, there's still some May left.

				a delay for xite, yes.
there was no explicit reason announced for rescheduling Scope5, though. or did I miss something?

				I got a reply, too
the most important points here:
- a more recent picture of XITE will be published in a mag (to be released at the beginning of next month. not a single word on which one.)
- it's all top secret (at least until then)
- scope 5 has advanced greatly and is proceeding, still. no details, though, since he isn't one of the developers
-greetings, markus-
