Anyone got the Void and Cos synths? What are they like. Obviously Cos is based on a Nord Lead but how closely? Is Void trying to get into the Virus playing field?

Congrats - It looks great, and sure is great news indeed
I noticed a few german text's mixed with english text's in there (as in the old site

) - something that should be fixed - but the design looks very nice
I wonder if "Scope 5" contains anything else than Vista support? Not that that is not a good thing, but does it contain bug fixes as well, other optimizations and/or more plugs?
Just curious!

Great to have a straight look into the future!!!
& Funny to see some "old" devices on the big new picture.
Am I right, that there is Simon Aytons fiLtheR - plug seen in the image & some devices which I bought years ago... don't know their names ... was the developer Guy Eastwood??? There was a tuner, a nice midi trigger a very good tube overdrive in the package... must be 7 years ago or somethiong like that.

Great news about the release of Platform 5! (I was surprised - I didn't even know this was going to happen!).
I guess I don't know everything going on at SC, I've been so wrapped up in the Solaris project here.

Congrats!!!
Like someone said it should be like that in the first place but this is total knock out for "scope is dead" bad vibe !!!!!!!

No, and there won't be for at least another year.
All this is excellent. news The hardware is good enough as it is, and it will give Solaris hw a competitive edge for some time - good thinking, in my opinion! When new cards come out, they will have been put through the sonic works, and deliver in the same way ours do! And the Solaris sound will raise interest for next gen boards.
in the meantime, we will enjoy Scope 5 on our trusted systems! I hope the new drivers will bring in
more than just Vista compatibility, and improve the performance under XP too. And I wonder what new goodies will come bundled...
Go SonicCore!

the typical John D. Carmack sentence about software news.
the homepage upgrade just shows that scope is in the right hands.

stardust wrote:where do you read something exciting about scope 5 ?
The good news is that it is free ...
as I read this it's a free upgrade to 4.5. so there will be most probably (still) an upgrade fee for those who go with 4.0 or older. dunno if vista support is worth that, but then, there are the additional devices, and maybe something not mentioned yet...

that's what I mentioned above...

and some small typos here and there. nothing to worry about much, but still worth fixing

...when there's time for it...

In the meantime, I need an extra board for my DAW !!!

It will be XP32 / Vista 64.
I will be ready.
