I even bought a PS/2 to USB adapter for my 1U KVM / PS/2 QWERTY.

The E6850 / P35 Intel combo will be a fast stable DAW. The L2 cache and low latency DDRII are capable of 18 VSTi's @ 32 samples from benchmarks I have read.

The results were achieved from Nuendo, and the VSTi used was Magneto x 18.

Just add an RME, or a Scope card, and this Dog Will Hunt.

Impressive technology those memory sticks. But again the mobo memory voltage is 1.8 volt. Are you sure that the one oczflex at 2.1 will be compatable?

I already have a Puslar 1 and a Scope pro boards. I guess like you say: this dog will hunt.

I actually was going to fix that in the BIOS that Intel now prides, but settled for the 4GB 1.8volt GSkills instead.

After hearing about GS4's abilities to load more memory in 32bit XP, I opted to be prepared for that or Vista using 8GB's of RAM. But will start off safely by having 4 at first.

It's still a crap shoot in some ways, but this upgrade might last for along time if designed properly the first time.

These are somewhat slower than the CL3 ratings I would have liked, but the 3-5% difference doesn't seem to affect the ability to load more instruments. L2 cache sizes and more RAM have won the day for me. That and the sore dick deal price. GSkill is known to have good reliable RAM for cheap. This kinda prooves that to me.
