lol, did something like that few years ago :-)

Now, you leave and remove your devs just when I am about to release the FAT and when it is forecasted to be raining mixers all over the place... tsss, ask to Jimmy (Scope4live@night&days), but your tube drive stuff seemed to work fine for a pro user like him....anyway... good luck (and yes, you gonna have some spare time now, for real life stuff ;-)

well, the SDK is powerful, but it has of course a disadvantage if one wants to gain profit from it: the NDA. but I think that's not what martin is after, neither are you, so it's up to everybody to decide whether having fun to develop is the profit to aim for, or not. well, the choice is somewhat limited since there are no pro developer licences to get somewhere out there (afaik), so you and martin and all the others are bound to do it for the endless glory :D

I Might Have Something Intersting Then,
I believe the 3 DP boards I bought in my first Scope DAW are mine to use as I wish. I will find out from Ralf tomorrow.

I still have many of the devices made by the original owner. He claimed to have worked for the stars, I tend to believe him as his devices are incredible, but he was such an arrogant ass, I had management reomove him, for his own safety.

I would love to sell these cards and their software, as moving them around the way I do gigs, will eventually lead to their demise. Perhaps I can find another talented SDK guy to give them a home. This person might have a dual license agreement, where he can sell, as well as share.

I Shall Find Out The Details Next Week,

well, I think even with the free sdk someone could sell a device if he gets in contact with soniccore and make a deal/contract.

I think they make the sdk free to make the platform more attractive, but they may also want to prevent people to sell worse quality plug-ins or just everything that appears... :)

This has absolutely nothing to do with selling plugins. I've explained my reasons for removing a few devices. No need for further speculation.. :D

jeah my post was not specifically a reply to yours, more a general statement.

I understand your points pretty well for removing the early plugs.

Hifiboom, I didn't respond directly to what you said, but rather to what you were all talking about.

This seems to be a can of worms in more ways than one.

so was mine :)

anyway, I have (like probably many others) a backup, and shroomz did not deny the possibility that the devices in question might be back one day, so why worry then? :)
