Then I read something on the rme tech site, that the new mainboards had problems, making a glitch every x minute.
That was my first thought too but the test changed my mind...
Now, I´m working at 4ms latency without any glitch or crackle

Ok.

I might give the card another try, without Scope. I think I perhaps would be better using a dedicated pc for my Scope, then use Wormhole or Teleport or ADAT for getting scope things into main DAW.

Hi,

I meant it could be wise if this had worked,
one way or another.

@AndreD im interested to make the same setup. Can you tell more about your setup?
1) mobo is ok.
2) Processor- which one?
3) RAM- is it kingstone? Did you install 2GB ram?
4) VGA is ok
5) Hard disk- why you select Parallel ATA? Isn’t it SATA is better for audio?
thanks

No, I´m not overclocking any.

But I have ordered Matrox P650, it should have been here today, but it is delayed.

So I am going to test again.

After all, this is the best cpu I have!

I am however more and more considering putting my Scope Pro, 2x Pulsar II in a separate pc, just to make the environment perfect for them, then I have 27DSP´s....

I´m wondering of getting the breakoutbox for my Luna II, and put that in the main DAW.

I basically need 10 i/o.

Not sure however ....

Well some testing will tell.

My understanding was that it's a different chipset Andre - 925XE on the ASUS.

I have a Pulsar 2 and a Scope board. When I used these boards with Abit IC7-MAX3, I encountered a problem when I used the USB 2 ports. The system just hang.
Now I am gonna use a Asus P5WD2 Premium motherboard. Are there any out there that know about any known problems around this?
