Of course, I'm now left with one question.
The Bluesky features an independantly controlable sub, and I'd like to get as flat a frequency response as possible.

Is there a tool for generating a fixed amplitude sine wave where I can vary the frequency?

Or can anyone else recommend a tool for testing the linearity of my monitor response.

Oh cool, have to have a play when I've fixed my computer. It's currently too unstable to really do anything serious music wise and has been since the day I built it five years ago

hubird: acoustic measurement equipment: will an SM58 linked back into the Pulsar via an A16 Ultra do the trick? If you're thinking of something else, please let me know.

an sm58 is not an accurate measuring instrument. your ears will do if you follow the instructions that come with the speaks.
