For those who don't know about Vorb - we're trying to get an SFP synth which was not designed to work in XTC to do that anyway. So no worries if it doesn't work, call it a style excercise
Vocodizer in XTC?
Managed to get the Vorb GUI loading in an FX track. Some (essential?) buttons are missing, like the XTC-specific Direct Output and XTC/DSP usage button. I could not get it to receive or transmit audio. It can neither be used as an Insert in Multi-FX.

Hiya Kenf.
Too bad about the Vorb not functioning in XTC, but at least now you have a high quality vocoder in XTC mode instead of using the Cubase vocoder.
However, have you figured out how to route an external synthesis signal into it?

An eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind.

Hi Nisse
I have managed to get some sound out inserting the Vocodizer into an input channel in SX2 and using direct monitor. I haven't tried using it in a 'real' recording yet but just put a guitar through it and play my keyboard at the same time... a bit tricky but I got a Vocoded signal out.
I will have a better play over the weekend.
