The next great idea would probably be new users registering on PlanetZ only to rant about the internal structure of CWA.

It realy is not very relevant to the concept of PlanetZ, wich is to be a place, where people help each other with their systems and try to find better ways to use those systems.

Ridiculous ain't it.
Oh come on at0mic, there must be some smart way to stop such a thing. Simply limiting the number of transfers per month or whatever. Im sure CWA could come up with something creative if they just put their minds to it.
An eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind.

good point there.
i DO think the fee is too high and i'm not sure it's a good idea at all, but i gotta admit, i'd be more upset if the discussion were about toys or video games as opposed to my audio tools...

Honestly, I can't blame them. Time is money and I can see how this could easily tie one or two full time employees up just transferring keys. They should be compensated for their time and I don't think this can be expected in the purchase of the card.

Let's hope they WILL put two man on this matter.I'm not going to wait again for 55 euro!

Wouldn't a device be perfect for this? Paying 55 EUR could be justified if you had got a device so you could install & deinstall devices yourself?

Just a thought...

*yiiiiehaaa*

I am looking forward to the next insolvency of Creamware Audio. They are on the best way...35 Euros *pfew* are they insane?

Luckily I never bought a plugin and I won't do either. What if I buy a plugin and after one month I recognize that I don't like its sound and it doesn't fit into my productions. Then I have to pay for selling it *LOOOL*

After the next insolvency they can found a new company again:

Hey Gurugurodoodleido, can't you stop this stupid show off behaviour?
You can vent every opinion here, we like discussion, but you act like a child with too much cheap speed in his head.
This isn't Kvr you know?
If you have a problem with your system and need help, would you behave also like this?
Look at all the so much valuable posts as Immanuel did here.
respect please!
I'm still very uneasy about the new atmosphere some new members are showing these days.
Respect I say!

So does this mean if I have 2 pulsar setups (2/3 cards)i can assign plugins to the other.Does it mean I can't use same plugins in both?
If it allowed me to use plugins in both systems that would be great, seeing I have registered all my cards to Creamware. If it doesn't allow me to do that that would be unfair.
How many times can we transfer?

On the one hand Creamware lowers the prices for their products, but on the other they raise money for the support afterwards.

I really find this an anti-social way of treating costumers.

BEGIN RANT:
This is totally and utterly not acceptable.

So if I want to upgrade from my ageing Pulsar I I have to pay a fee to transfer my keys, and I will have to pay to sell off any duplicates.

I'm not likely to go out and buy a new card am I? I'll buy a 2nd hand card without the plugins I already have. (One scenario)

Or I will be forced into having duplicates that I can't sell, this effectively kills off the 2nd hand plugin market.
Yep a very smart move, what a good way to make money at the expense of customer satisfaction.

And what happens when my Pulsar card loses its keys again, will I have to pay to have them reset?

In any of the above scenarios creamware will get money out of me.

My level of anger may reduce if it turns out you only have to pay a service fee to another PERSON not between cards. But that doesn't appear to be the case

This is obviously the price we pay for free updates.

Yes time is money, I understand that, but why should I foot the bill for inefficient methods?

Answer: I don't, I can go and buy another companies product.... I may well do in the future.

And I will think twice about buying plugins from creamware, as they will lose a lot of value if it turns out I don't need it in the future.

END RANT.

I've not been here for about a week and just saw this post

this is crazy

i've been trying to tranfer 6 different plug-ins to 6 different people, the seventh called himself to CW and the transfered it the same day for nothing.
do the people that wait much longer have to pay now?(or do I have to pay 6x 35 euro)

sorry for the people that are waiting so long!

It's also annoying that I don't have a creditcard, so that I can't do the transfer anyway.
