Tried the different methods to set processor affinity. None of them work. (Well, they do work, but they don't prevent the system (creamware) from crashing.
The only stable sitiuation I can create is to disable HT in the BIOS.

To troubleshoot your problem we need as much information as possible about your system.
First what happens when it locks up, what error message are you getting if any, if you get a BSOD what's the fail code etc.
Second, you need to establish if the failure is repeatable (consistent) and then what steps you took to recreate the failure.
Third, to troubleshoot this problem, disconect all hardware from your CW card, start with a simple project and build from there.
Most people can help you if you're concise, no one can read anybody's mind except Miss Cleo

You must use ver. 3.1A driver!
First, deinstall the previous driver; reboot the machine then reinstall the 3.1A driver.
Start SFP with affinity setting for CPU 0.
Tested 100% working with Pulsar2, including MIDI ports, active sensing etc.

I don't have the 3.1a driver lying around, but has anyone been able to verify this?
Cheers,

Check out my postings on the HT subject in various forums on Planet Z. Works superbly for me now. Just search for postings by Sean_Middleton

Having just bought a Pulsar 2 AND a shiny new P4 3.4 with hyperthreading this is a bit disconcerting to hear about. I will be using hyperthreading as my PC is intended for 2D and 3D graphics - not just audio. Turning it off is not an option - nor is turning off my midi in/out as I'll need that for my keyboard. I hope a fix is on the way asap - they really should prioritise this or I for one will be emailing them to sort it out.
