Same card, same software, different outer box. so those with lunas now can say they have scope home and those with PII they can say they have Scope Studio and those with powerpulsar now can say they have scope prof.

Finally! They could have included even more hi-quality plugs with Scope Prof (pro-one, prodyssey, B-2003) though.
Or at least make a new bundle of these synths. Frank?

But if I will eventually receive Minimax and Modular III for free, I wont complain. Just throw some ideas

Just can't wait getting my hands on...

EDIT: Antar, and how about us with Scope/SP? It isn't fair if former PowerPulsar users are identified as Scope/SP owners ;(

I don't know guys.., but it's X-tremely weird CW has nothing on their web site.., yes I know they are re-building the whole company (therefore the website too).., but on past updates for SFP we all used to receive an info email from CW, and also they used to announce it several days before.., I mean this is a mayor event for CW, not another synth/effect added to the platform.

Does someone else thinks about this too?

Snoopy.

Pd.. OF COURSE I WISH I AM WRONG AND TOMORROW WE ALL HAVE THE LINK TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW VERSION.

Since we're all speculating here, I'd say the Mix and Master, and Synths packs are only for new customers. I think it's highly unlikely they'll give away those bundles to anyone who currently owns a Pulsar 2 or Power Pulsar card. The new card/packs bundles are just like the Xmas promotion they had a few months ago.

Joxer,

That is exactly how I expect it too be aswell, I think CWA appreciates all there past customers patronage, but the new plug in packs being included would make sense to be used as a lure to get new users into the platform, I could be wrong, if so I would imagine people who purchased there card within a reasonable grace period would be entitled to get new features offered in the new packs.

A practice most companies use currently. As to people being concerned with current powerpulsar users now sharing the scope name, there is still a difference in the units, scope comes with sync plate and powerpulsar does not.

I have a Powerpulsar with both plug-in packs, essentially a scope/sp system just minus the sync plate, too bad for me I purchased my unit just a few weeks ago and now they cross the powerpulsar and scope to the same system, maybe they will send me a free sync plate

Wishfull thinking I suppose..

[EDIT] Now that I think about it, if they no longer have a PowerPulsar nor a Scope/SP and have one Scope Pro card, what will happen to the price point? The ScopeSP retail is like 2500.00 and the PowerPulsar retail was like 1890.00, the difference being software bundles and the sync plate, I wonder how they plan to juggle that to keep ScopeSP users happy and also not anger Powerpulsar users..

Cheers!

I imagine that Sonic State, as Harmony Central often does, made the announcement a little early (perhaps a time-zone issue). Given that Musikmesse opens tomorrow, I expect that all will be explained shortly.

Exactly my thinking, Messe would be a good time. Hadn't thought of timezone, they're getting loads of clicks now ;)

It's not going to be released on april 1st, is it? :o)

Snoopy

The emails always came a few days later. I guess this procedure is to even out the stress on the servers over some more days.

What I want to know is if they will be offering any sort of sweet deal for new buyers of Noah.

Looks like some of the terminology at PlanetZ will need to change - since they ditched the "Pulsar" terminology.

No more "General Pulsar Discussion" - instead it will need to be "General Scope Discussion"

My username is no longer valid either

And I will no longer be a "Budding Pulsarian"

Thanks Immanuel... I'm lost on this very fast changing SFP World.

I sold the upgrade to MIII yesterday, and someone was going to send the money today.
I hope he reads this on time

If it's confirmed tomorrow : excellent moves !!!! the permanently offered bundles should be a big incentive.

If it's not enough : champagne, limo, girls ?

Woops, didn't see the second page of comments so I've removed my duplicate comments. Nothing to see here.

I cant believe it.. It is too early to make a "1st April" joke anyway..
But if it is true, I dont expect us to get any plugin bundle for free. This will be only for new users.
In any case, I dont really care. But I am excited to see what has changed in SFP4! Are the (few) bugs gone? Any change to the STS samplers?...

Cant wait!..

P.S. I am SO glad Creamware is starting to get active and present again!))
