Thanks for the example patch Roy.
The Filter being swept by CC# 21 sounds sweet. I added a little dirt to the patch from the OD on the Filter and suddenly it reminded me of a Hohner D6 Clavinet.
I still can't figure out how to attach multiple destinations but your example works fine.
I am use to seeing the connections.

haha, this is awkward. the most important part of the patch is missing: the connection between MVC ass.Ctrl out and asyncDezip.
I don’t know why, and I don’t know why it works nevertheless!

ok, I’ve got it: as soon as you assign a MidiCC to a "assCtr." pot, the patchcable miraculously disappears.
but the connection is still there.
anyway: you can connect any mod destination to the MVC C assCtrl outs, and it receives CC values for your pleasure.
the cabling is invisible. this is odd.

I thought so, but not seeing the knobs on the filter moving, but hearing them sweep the cf1 & 2 was really meesin' with me.
I connected Knob 2 to CC 10 and then connected multiple cables for the multiple destinations and it works fine......
For years I thought Herbie Hancock was using a Mutron or Vox Wah-Wah on his clavinet. Now I know he was actually routed the Clavinet through his ARP2600S live.
I saw Miles and Herbie live and have been hooked to Electronic Funk/Jazz ever since.
But live that Clavinet was so awesome.
Here's the way I got it working for me. I am also going to connect the knob of an X-Fade and start tweaking around with that.
This is a great idea from Decimator, and great implentation by you.

by the way, it’s better to use Flexor’s control smoother instead of the asyncDezip module. (I don’t know why I used it in this example patch )

I noticed when I added and detuned Oscillators it sounded " Knotchy."
I appreciate all of the tips, I have learned much more since the tutor'd tips and Flexor pdf. came out.
I will try the smoother and see if it " Smooths " the knotchy Oscillator sound.
I actually doubled the patch w/ 2 x X Fade's another Oscillator, and a Phaser and Flanger so I could use all 4 x outputs.
Really cool stuff.
Basic waveform/detuned pads, Combo Organ, FM EPiano, and Clavinet are what I have made so far that I will be using.
Modular is great for filling in the gaps between sampled instruments and Scope synths.

Damn Roy you are a serious Modular kind of guy.
I especially like the control sequencer.
I am note sure what a Gate will do, the Note Sequencer's a no brainer.
But the control sequencer can have some CC attached to it for sweep filters, etc. Right..?
They are cosmetically beautiful as usual too.

This is Mod sequencing evolved! Probably due to my own ineptness but I've always battled to make user friendly sequencers in modular but last night I built the bare bones of a one osc synth with note, gate and control sequencers all synced externally via live. I love the inclusion of individual gate length, random function, internal frequency generation and what seems to be like an accent control on the note sequencer. Mono acid lines are go!! but also this will pave the way for some truely flexible sequencer patches. I think the icing on the cake would be to be a patch change sequencer or maybe if the modules allowed for midi out as well as freq. I couldn't figure out how to convert the freq into usable midi data (tried Wolfs modules) but with this kind of functionality complete internal mod sequencing would be a cinch.

Dude you gotta try a slow 16 note ( 60 bpm ) with the glide faders.
Use a slight amount on the first, and then increase it ever so slightly until the end of the 16 notes.
I don't know why or who thought of this, but Roy is turning into a real freakshow with all of these recent incredible ideas.
What I like about up tempo guys like Roy is they got ideas, and ideas are infectious.
I am beginning to think that spending time on anything other than Modular is time unwisely spent... I just used a pinch on the highest note of the first 2 x 8 note sections.
I am going for Teenage Wasteland by the Who for shits and grins next.

common features (besides big size - no microscope needed for editing):
- to make pattern select convenient and suitable for live applications, all modules have midi in to switch between patterns, by just playing a note on the keyboard / programming the host sequencer to play notes: c-2=>pattern0, d-2 =>pattern1 ... c3=>pattern60...g8=>pattern127. an in-built midi channel filter allows selecting a specified channel for pattern switching.
the whole thing can be turned off by the snapSelOnOff button.
- turquoise button for generating random values. (first time you press it after module load these values are the lowest possible; after that, you’ll get it right)
- below that the red gang button. by clicking on it, the random button disappears; altering one sequencer step will result in altering all steps. if pattern should be selected by midi notes, gang has to be turned OFF.
- a small but sometimes useful feature is that you can edit the module’s name: this can be done by clicking on the small "R" button near the module name.
en détail:
- note seq+glide: outputs frequencies; no freqIn. if you want to transpose sequences, you have to do that via the OSC’s coarse pitch.
first row is for selecting notes, second for octaves. the third row just displays the actual notes; no edit here.
in 4th row you can edit glide between notes. extreme settings here (0 to ~ 300) will result in missing the programmed pitch.
preset lists: "All" = notes c-b, octave, glide; "Notes" = just note c-b, octave; "Glide" = just glide
- gate sequencer: outputs gate messages to trigger EGs or LFOs.
step length of every single step can be programmed individually; best use is with an adsr EG.
shuffle: with extreme values, length settings possibly have to be tweaked to avoid chocked steps.
seperate preset lists for gates, gate length, all=gates+gate lengths.
- control sequencer: outputs unipolar or bipolar control values (switchable).
controls for step length, dezip/smoothness and overall output level.
