This is realy great news!

I started to panic when I saw Ali from the Canada, US Soniccore selling off things on PZ.
I have asked him if the Canada US Soniccore branch in Vancouver is shutting down, but no reply.
I wonder if anyone has any info on that.
So things started to look quite grim for Soniccore here in Canada.

But this news does give me alot of hope that Soniccore will survive.

We need new drivers for Vista and perhaps new hardware to keep in time with the development of computers.

I really don't care much for Vista or to upgrade to a newer DAW for now, but for new clients to purchase Soniccore products, I feel it's a must.

Anyways great to have you back on Soniccore Klaus!

unfortunately, Ali is currently doing other things, but you never know....
p.m. me if you need something, i can probably help you. as far as i know, Scope cards will be around for some time to come.....

Looks like multi-timbrality, and high polyphony are no longer an issue with that size Brotha' Man Kylie.

But the enviromentalists of California will freak out when they see the wooden side panels of that size.

I will have to stop by Yosemite everytime I go to Tahoe now!!

there is a large (or fullsize) model, too...
(increasing polyphony even further. the quality of each single voice is not stable, though, and it changes with every stop, as does the number. at boot it's even monophonic only, and sounds ugly if the driver cought a flu

wooden panels are imho optional components anyway, but the metal case is mandatory, for stability reasons

the environmentalists would surely have a look at this company (they're from poland), since they claim to produce "green" products. especially the hybrid model could be california's darling

Having Klaus Piehl on board is a major coup. Yeah. the Scope hardware is old, but it can be replaced sooner than later. Anyway how long did it take to do all the original scope hardware and software back in 1997-98? Big undertaking...of course! Achivable today! Yes! and quicker - it's all to do with ££££££$$$$$$!!

Here's an excerpt from a message I sent to all those who had made pre-order deposits, to clarify the situation:

"Klaus is the ideal candidate to oversee the conversion and upgrade of the special Scope modules that I hoped to add to the Solaris system (even though we originally had no idea we would one day have access to these). This last point is important, in that the process is not nearly as simple or easy as I thought it would be, and in fact, has caused a bigger delay than I expected.

"When I arrived in Germany last week, it was clear that I had a choice - either release the Solaris around late December (as I've been planning) but without the Minimax, SSM, and CEM filter (and oscillator), or give it more time to get the 'goodies' from the Scope library that I had wanted...

"So, this is where we stand: I am going to take more time on it, to give Klaus plenty of opportunity to get things as best as possible, because we all desire to have a product that holds to the high quality and excellence that has been at the core of what I've always tried to represent in my products. This delay will add 3 months to the schedule, with production starting in February and delivery as soon as possible thereafter (end of Feb. or early March)."

Those filters are crucial to the Bowen sound character, personally I believe it's a great call, and now I have more time for purchasing it.

I listened to John's sound clips, and they sounded fantastic even through little notebook speakers! Then played through big speakers...WOW!!

Can't wait to get my hands on one and make a demo of my own...
