faxinadu wrote:Most important thing is the v7 platform is a basis for future 7.x releases, and count on it that they are coming. this is an initial release. holger mentioned at least a few rounds of free updates for v7 adopters, so get on it

- Redesigned GUI
- new ASIO driver
New:
      Effects/Mono/SC-Channel M
      Effects/Stereo/SC-Channel S
      Effects/Stereo/Dynamic/SC-Autogate
      Effects/Stereo/EQ/SC-Brickwall EQ
      Plug-Ins/QSSG/QSSG (Quad Space Shepard Generator)
      Arpeg02
minimax and lightwave upgraded with unison and drone mode
white noise / pink noise in tools
- Updated:
      Mixer/ControlRoom
- Fixed:
      Synths/SB404 on Xite
      ModularModules/Seq/GateSEQ1 on Xite
MasterVerb / Masterb Classic loadig presetlist failed
E-Reflector, MasterVerb, Masterb Classic error message when loading
Sample oscs in modular4 work in 64 bit
Besides that a lot of minor fixes.

Sold!
Just the sts samplers need sorting for 64bit it seems.

No promises but v7 provides progress on sts. Notice it does load and play okay now in 64bit. It crashes and is unstable cause of timestretch module. What is back is sampling in general. Mod4 samplers work. More to come based off that..

I'm not sure what exactly catscratch is trying to do, but there is a problem/bug in the cc system on Scope, and as Atom informed me after many hours of trying to figure out what was going on, there has been a bug here for many many years. It's a very old and known bug from back in the creamware days:
http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic. ... lit=cc+bug
yes, i know.
is it too much trouble to send Holger a clear, simple explanation of the problem?

Are the Waves drivers usable now with the v7 ? (I mean to record too !)
I hesitate if I invest in these drivers with my very old cards ...

				first, it's not just drivers.
but, to answer your question, no wave driver recording YET. we have been working on that, but decided to release the current driver which IS new, and IS signed. there WILL be an update.
we are working on fixing all the bugs, even very old ones.

I know it is much to ask, but hope is green

Will xtc-mode work in 64-bit?

if Im running Scope PCI and Scope XITE on the same system, then I have to buy it twice yeah ( eg in order to run it on both). If so, and I decide only to upgrade 1 then should be no prob to run Scope 7 on XITE whilst running Scope 5.1 on PCI ?

the same bad news for 64bit XTC, but it's likely that will get fixed this year, as well.

Congrats Holger! Tremendous accomplishment and will power to finish the job after all these years and setbacks. The future is bright! A lesser platform would have crumbled but Scope is mighty and conquers all!
Anyone even remotely thinking about ordering an Xite needs to jump on the insane price being offered right now!

OMG, that would be
SOON in deed ...

no kidding,-
I didn´t expect SCOPE v7 coming before Musikmesse 2018,- so for me it´s absolutely amazing reading it´s out already !
I´ll buy it twice, for PCI and XITE-1 and I´ll do soon as well,- but I also have questions left ...
let´s begin ...
1.)
I read,- "PC with Microsoft Windows up to Win10".
Does that mean, SCOPE v7 still runs on XP,- or does it urgently need Win7 now.
Not a dealbreaker but I wanna know ...
2.)
New ASIO driver,- but WAVE driver doesn´t work in 64Bit up to now, bugfixes incl. MIDI CC permanent storage and reliable recall promised for the near future and so on,- all good.
But,- what´s about (XITE-) hardware compatibility w/ mobos using processor sockets 1151/ 1151v2 and 2011-3/ 2066 as also Intel chipsets z170 / z270 / z370 / x99 / x299 ?
Is there a solution/ improvement or do we still need z97 for best data thruput and performance ?
For me, that´s very important because I originally wanted to build an all new machine for SCOPE v7.
