				Sebastien Leger Essential Mix.
The French sure do have impeccable taste when it comes to dance music
I suppose that extends to all sorts of electronica. It's funny to think back when I was kid holidaying over in France year in year out and just how much my attitude has changed to French musical taste over the years. They've totally got it nailed. IMO the production is second to none (at least as far as Europe is concerned). For more than a decade now i've continually been impressed by the work of their Artists and DJ's. It's just such a far cry from way back then when I thought all French music was nothing short of laughable

I'm sure they've probably still got there fair share of drivel, but it just seems like everything French (in a musical sense) that reaches these shores nowadays has an unmatched level of consistency. They don't overwork it, I think that's the key. They keep things simple and yet there's never a shortage of innovation. Brilliant stuff.

Electric Light Orchestra - As A Matter Of Fact & Hello My Old Friend. Off a box set. Recorded in 1982 sometime, they never made it onto any of ELO's records, but better than some that did (at least after that).
