Well, maby there are some people in this forum that think the English language skills are some sort of IQ test to decide wich one of us are qualified to take part in these "higher" communications... this would not be the first thread to indicate that. If so, just remember that G.W.Bush also speaks english!

Do What?! Well perhaps, with a bullshitational accentification and non-completified sentencetionalism.

Regarding your other point, I don't think that it's symptomatic of a lack of English skills to inzert ZZZs everywhere phyzically pozzible!

RoyZton

edit: in case it's not clear, I didn't mean to infer that the American accent is bullshit...that's a reference to what comes out of Bush's mouth.

In general being in a happy state of mind is beneficial to your mental and physical health however we should remember that many Germans were very happy even elated with their leader Hitler. This is a case where anger would have been a better emotiion for them to have than joy.

I have sometimes dreamt of seeing Samplitude as a plugin for SFP - total integration and all. It would be a shame to the Macers though. Just because Apple bought Emagic - and Emagic at that point was doing finance with Samplitude (a PC only program), doesn't mean, that I would like to see my Macified friends loose support for their lovely soundcards.

We could skip a few OS-ABCD....X support bitching though.

Eliam:

This talk about eternal light reminds me of the Divine Light Mission. I witnessed a talk by Guru Maharaj Ji, formally known as Prem Pal Singh Rawat. All the followers (known as premies) were in total bliss. I wish I could be as happy as they were but to me it is obvious they were brainwashed. This is the way I feel about the guru and all other religions. It's nice for them that they have something to have faith in, in this difficult world where we do not have all the answers to the problems that face us. Perhaps I should say it is a matter of philosophy rather than putting it so bluntly but to me there is a clear distinction between fiction and reality. Not to say that I know exactly what reality is but again, nothing is real to me unless it is proven based on facts (scientifically tested by more than one group).

Neither of us is likely to convert anyone to our thinking anyway so we might as well not preach. Peace.

Your "pro-anger" arguments are seriously flawed.
Nazism/fascism was born out of a nation bankrupted and devastated by WW1 and economical crisis. It would be safe to say Hitler was chose out of anger. The people were "happy" with him because he focused their anger and their pain into action: the murder of the jewish people and the insane plan to take over the world. Hitler himself probably had a lot of anger, hate, fear and pain built up inside him and the whole WWII (or any other war for that matter) is a classic example of anger and hate clouding the mind, inducing delusions of power, grandeur and superiority over other human beings.
Even you should be able to see that were it not for the existence of hate and anger, people like Hitler would not exist.

This is not to say competition (of which war is sort of an extreme variant) is bad, because it's out of competition that a lot of progress is made. But there can exist competition without anger and hate! And I think if we really look deep down into ourselves, we can realise that even competition (ie. the need to feel/be better than someone else) isn't needed to make progress.

I can understand the whole thing about lawyers and "bureaucrazy", but  why they did not ever took some minutes to update their webpage and at least say "..Happy new year.." or sort of "we are still alive" message. It's been a while since the last news posted on CW site. I'm starting to worry about the whole thing.

I think it's much more revealing to think of Nazism as a cult religious movement. It focussed on blood, faith, belief, confidence, duty etc and in that respect had all the "positive" elements of a nutty religion.

It does seems to fascinate many people (like mass murderers and freaks I suppose). Huge, gruesome, terrifying, incredible. And yet so close to our own time.

And the Poms still seem to be obsessed with it

ps: Eliam - this may be an absurd question (and perhaps unanswerable in a few sentences), but how do you "refocus" sexual energy ?

[sigh] This is way off topic, but I feel I have to say something.

Braincell, you are wrong in making that assumption, and here's why. Hitler, aka crazy lunatic fuckhead, was chosen due to fanaticism and propaganda. You have to take into account what the Treaty of Versailles meant for Germany, and what the economic situation was at the time. People demanded answers. The megalomaniac made some limited progress, then the propaganda machine took over. Most of the people who were not fanatics of these views already were simply fooled by the machine.

And not all Germans were very happy to see him chosen, let's make that absolutely clear. Very few of the officers of the military at the time thought it was smooth sailing ahead for the country. Remember, von Stauffenberg tried to waste that fool many times.

Then the military exploits began to reveal the true extent of his madness. Austria, the Sudetenland in the former Czech Republic, then Poland, and it all went quickly into the toilet, where that type of thinking belongs. Then there's the pure evil of the dark plan for the eradication of a people.

Why this was even brought up escapes me...

I totally agree on this one - upgrading a webpage is not a hard thing to do. The last change was made in November, and it does not look promising to have front page stating "the Holiday Season begins!" in the end of january!

Spirit- actually it's easy to answer: wasting sexual energy is like letting out of the body a great anount of energetic pressure (like a hydraulic pressure). And just like in the mechanical inventions where you must have a great hydraulic pressure to perform certain actions requiring some force, the preservation of sex energy within the body is necessary to gather and build up the power required to perform high energy tasks without the slightest exhaustion. The global health and the power of achievement is directly dependant upon this inner pressure of power. Boxers know that because they don't have sex during the months before a fight. Oriental masters are well aware of that too and tai-chi/kung fu teachers encourage the control of the sex drive to permit an energetic build up.

After you've done that, then how you channel all this precious energy is up to you, but the power of action and the courage to accomplish increases tremendously!
