I am really sorry that i am posting such a simple question, but i have just upgraded to a new PC and i am having a few problems.

1. I am trying to use my old instruments on SFP 4.0 and it is asking for their codes, so i am loading the all keys file but that isn't working? What should i be doing

2. I can't remember the basic set up i had when using SFP, as it was just my default!! Could someone help with what should be connected to what. I spent a really frustrating day yesterday, trying to get it to run with cubase 5.0. ASIO in to which connection on the mixer etc?

3. Which mixer should i be using for normal mixing. I seem to always bring up the surround sound mixer?

I am really sorry for these idiot questions, but i haven't used SFP for a while as my old computer kept crashing. I have forgotten the basics!!

Thanks

Hi......no need to apologize!

1.If you registered your card at Creamware, you should be able to download the 'allkeys' file on your 'My Page' which will sort it all out in one go....just point the computer to it when it asks you for the codes on starting Scope (I think it says 'import from file...' if I remember correctly)

2. http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=13&3
check my post out

3.Use whichever mixer as long as there is no 'S' after the name.....(S for surround)

some CWA devices were updated since version 3.1c so your projects which were built in earlier versions may not work.

you should consider building fresh project using the new scope 4.0

for Cubase you need Asio Source and destinations hooked up to the mixer STM 1632

source for playback. Destination to record into Cubase. then you have to make sure cubase sees Scope Asio as its driver.
