Whoa!!!

I haven't 'officially' announced that this product is ready to go!

I have been offering some 'teaser' screen shots on the site for several weeks now...but no actual announcement of a release date yet.

(But thanks for the enthusiasm!!)

cheers,

Hi again,

For more detailed info on the RD Drum, please check this page on planet z (where the idea first got started):

http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 30&start=0

In answer - it can play back samples or use synth modules...the RD Drum is an 'empty shell' like my Red Dwarf synth (hence the 'RD'), with slots that the user populates from a selection of modules.

I would rather hear it than see it. In any event I am leaning towards more exotic electronic and ethnic sounding drums. We all have enough and have heard enough of the standard sounds.

as on http://www.somafm.com, try Groove Salad, or http://www.radioioambient.com ,and others
It will never reach the charts, but it's great music
And there's a lot more on the net

Murd Der

Looks like he has been incorporating the step sequencer after all. that pretty much seals the deal for me when it gets released.

so it can sound like anything you want, right?

...so it's a way to control the triggering of sounds? Doesn't that make it a sampler?

If made from Stereo Effect shell, one input could serve as trigger, the other as velocity. What is done with these inputs depends on the insides of the module, be it a sampler or a synth...

Ah!

Went to the website and read about Red Dwarf, now I get it.

Cool concept. Wish I had a more powerful Pulsar card so I could run these things.
