I am going to change my current setup due to many problems with compatability issues, I would suggest to anyone DO NOT BUY the ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe as it has cuased me all kinds of head aches with the Pulsar 2. So please can anyone give me suggestions as to a good board to get, either AMD or Pentium if need be. Thanks In advance.

Intel PBZ 875. Up to date, solid and very happy with it. If you're into gaming though, and want to over-clock, you might like an ASUS non deluxe board. But try surfing the forums as this subject has come up many times.

I moved from a A7N8X standard with an XP2700+ cause of issues, nothing would work right in pulsar land unless I installed standard PC mode and disabled everything, I can only umagine the headaches from a delux board with all those IRQs set.

I now run (and second that Ricardo) an Intel P4 3.2c with an Intel D875PBZ and it has run flawless and has great PCI bandwidth and no extras to deal with, I have HT turned on and installed in standard ACPI mode and it works great, highly suggested.

Cheers!
