I realy do not think so. Then the whiners would just say. "Evil creamware forces me to buy the same plug-ins twice". You just can not prevent whining globaly. You can prevent it locally, because many whiners will accept a lot, as long as it does not affect themselves. If it affects themselves, they will fin dit unfair and make up all sorts of facts to support it (and some of them may even believe those facts themselves). On 2004-05-13 21:20, powerpulsarian wrote:I can understand that issue for sure (it is an abuse and taking advantage without a doubt). But why not just make it a policy that you cannot transfer any plugins that come bundled with a card? That makes total sense to me - and it is something I think most people could buy into.On 2004-05-12 15:05, antar wrote:
I was told that some users who bought PulsarII tried to sell what ever they don't use in that software including mixers/samplers even single effects, and by emailing and floading cwa mailboxes with such requests. I guess they gave you the answer.
Creamware is considering charging for key transferring

But it doesnt matter what I legally bought! I have the right to think as I do. I think CW are taking the piss out off their customers. I think I should not have to pay to transfer plugins between cards which I own. I dont think I should have to pay to transfer to someone elses card either. I dont give a flying F about the exact details of the licence. Yes maybe CW can act as they like according to this license. But I dont have to agree with their behaviour, and I dont have to buy any more of their products. Just because many software companies abuse the current copyright legislation, patents and software licences doesnt mean I have to agree with it. And I am a software developer myself, so I know what it means...On 2004-05-12 14:12, garyb wrote:
most important fact: you did not BUY anything but a LICENSE to use the device.

Oops, my apologies. A few too many beers meant I expressed myself more forcefully than intendedOn 2004-07-15 02:12, garyb wrote:

I'd have to be drunk to state I wouldnt buy anymore CW devices in future, they always seem to target my wallet succesfully
