I don't think so as each other device behaves rather the same on PC or Mac. But perhaps it's the demo protection so don't worry now

Happy to see that you enjoy it !

>>The best thing is that I can contro EQ with my Doepfer Pocket Dial

of course, that's why i made it that way ... to be fully midi controlled with few controllers ...

In fact , you'll need something like 60 controllers for the 24 main mono strips
The pocket Dial from Doepfer ( 4 banks of 16 encoders = 64 ctrls) is a good midi controller for it ...
as i develop my plug with the same pocket dial, i'm sur ir works ...
but in absolute, it works with any such kind of hardware ...

>>Does it works EQ's? it seems not...

of course man !!! it's a mixer !!!
you have to put them on (upper left side of the eq section

>>How can I have stereo input like the Pulsar Mixers (STM 2448/1632)
no the channels are mono ones ...

but :
i have reached a new stage in this developpement ... and i'm about to upload a brand new beta version of it !!!

- with inserts (4 for each channel + 1 for the direct out)
- with HPF + LPF (from 12 to 60 (!!!) dB/oct)
- with one soft clip (drive + ceiling) for each channel ...

- there are 8 more stereo channels , with 2 inserts for each
- the solo have been improved
- direct out have a 3 choice source point (post gain - post HPF / LPF - pre fader

- full functions for general settings ... vu, pan mode ...

The demo of this beta will be soon oline (next monday or thuesday) it will be a totally full version ... no time protection (mine was not so good and had preturbations ...)
but there will be only ... 8 mono channels and 2 stereo ... 1 stereo aux send ... 1 insert slot by channel (instead of 4) ...

i hope you'll come a bit later for dowloading this demo device ...

ciao
a+++

as i will use it this summer for live applications, :
- mixing concerts with the mixer (4 U) PC + 3 monitors ,
- the same PC as an insert rack (24 strips) in addition with analog mixers ...

i did yersterday my first real mix on it !!!

I am proud to annonce that IT'S SOUNDS ! exactly what i was wishing ... a pure and clear sound with no compromise ... eq equalize, comp compres and gate gae !!!

I made the mix in live situation :
- i d'idn't know the tracks : a friend of mine music maker for karaoke gave me 12 tracks of HEY TOU - Pink Floyd (samples for drums, VSTI and accoustic Gtr with mike)
- i spent only 20 minutes for this mix .
- 1 masterverb pro
- i tried to use exclusively the pocket dial and the pro mix 01 (faders / mute / select) but in fact , it's very pleasant to use both ctrlrs ans mouse ... easy to use and quite instinctive way of mixing.

you can listen it here
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/p.f.records/sonsmp3/heyyou.mp3

of course it's mp3 !!! nothink upon 5 Khz, but it's a good way for diffusion over the net !

Great Sonolive!)

I have Pocket Control (not Pocket Dial as I wrote) but I think is a great way for control every Channel EQ's in your demo Mixer. I will try again, because I like that when you select a Channel you can control the selected eq (like Yamaha/Tascam digital mixer). In the STM2448 it' s no possible, and it's a shame. I'm sorry only that are only mono channel... Thank for yours answers! I'm waiting for your next demo Mixer
Bye

It's really a great mixer... good job !
Just one thing more: stereo input channel and could be perfect for my works! ... Sorry if I' m boring you !
I would like to know how it's possible to have a full working one, and if you think to build one for 1024x768 video version.
Waiting for your Reply

Best Regards!

hi ,

happy to see that you enjoy it !

"Just one thing more: stereo input channel and could be perfect for my works!"

can't understand what you mean !!!
tere are stereo channels ,8, with 2 insert slot for each ...
but you ^probably mean stereo strips same as mono ones ???
right now i don't think so but in the future why not ?
actually it is not totally finished yet even if it's workable !!! so i prefer to finish it with this base ... i still have to do 8 sub groups, 8 DCA (same as VCA but digital + 6 mono aux send ...

"and if you think to build one for 1024x768 video version. "

sorry but the answer is the same as for stereo strips ... no time right now ...
as it is said for html, best view in 1280 X 1024 + 2 TFT 17 " monitors (lol)

sorry for my english !!! i hope every thing is understandable !!!

a+++

Don't worry 'bout your English, no prob )
(mine is not so good )!
You' ve done a great, great, job, and I like it because I have got the possibilities to control eq on every channel with Pocket Dial in a way that Creamware Mixers can't, and mouse boring, EQ's are the most important thing to control in real time, in my opinion...
Yes, I mean strip channels, like STM2448 or STM1632.
I work with cubase and every asio is connected to 1 stereo bus. So I don't have to worry 'bout mono or stereo... asio 1-2 to mixer 1-2, asio 3-4 to mixer 3-4, and so on.
How to have (when will possible, of course) a full working version? Do you think one Pulsar II is enought, or will I need another DSP card (Scope) for working with your great Mixer??

Great Job, really!
Best Regards
