how big will be the increase between dualchannel vs singlech

maybe this question sounds ridiculus but
is it worth to get myself an dualchannel
board with my p4 3ghz fsb 800.
how much will be the speed increase with dualchannel?
has anybody any clue about this.

if it´s more than 20%, i will buy a new motherboard. if not i will stay with asus my current p4pe.
