Sonic Timeworks : Classic Plate released
Hey,
First of all - the current version is a pre release of the reverb - there will be some changes for the actual release, like :
* 44.1/48/96 kHz support
* Filter switch (input/output)
* New presets
* Bug fixing
@deejaysly - No. Very few people have had problems regarding the keys. Most people receive their within 2-3 days after ordering. Unfortunately I have no influence on the handling of orders - thats the reason for the free chorus/delay thing.
@R0zzer - There will be a lite (both DSP and PCI) version of the reverb.
@voidar - For several reasons. The number of parameters have increased, so I needed a new design.
Cheers

Hey,
@rodos1979: The new version will probably be released next weekend. The Chorus/Delay is not yet finished, I have been busy with other projects. But hopefully it will be released within 2-3 weeks. At this moment I do not know how many items I have sold and therefore dont have any email adr. Im waiting for an email list right now. People could probably register via email.
kind regards

yes it sounds good but too much dsp consuming and these day for 300$ you can have a lexicon lpx15 II which sound better IMHO ( pcm91 algo inside ) .
the p100 has more parameter and more tweakable if you like . but the simplecity on my lpx15 II is just awesome and always musical. so if your have a large amount of dsp go for the p100 ( 15 dsp mini for a normal project 24 tracks with a stm2448 few plug ins and one p100 ) .
please creamware update the sharc !!!!!

thanx for the correction warp69.
your verb is great indeed ! but it eat dsp like candy ! 8^) . i would like to use it every day . but it's not possible now due to the lake of dsp ( 14 dsp ).
about the lpx15 II the sound ( the plate algo ) is very very very close to the pcm91 to my ears ( even with half of the delays ). extern reverb is the only way to have good reverb without taxing the dsp which are working for other thing . but for owner of more than 15 dsp it's fully enjoyable .
so just an idea ? could you make a 55% delay of your P100 ?

Hey Spiderman,
Have you tried the Timeworks 4080L? How does that one compare to your Lpx15 II?
The demo version of the P100 already include a DSP/PCI lite version - but if I made that one mono->stereo and removed the Modulation parameter and reduced the damping amount (24dB -> 12dB) I could save some DSP cycles. But that will take some time.
Cheers

yes i'm aware !
like i said before the lpx15_II has far less parameter for sure !! sometimes it's not a bad thing and sometimes yes .but the sound is there ( maybe a little bit vintage now but in a good way ).
the point is that your reverb is fantastic but in my case using dsp reverb on my system (P3S1.4g; i815 , P+ ,P2+ ,SRB is not easy I have to bounce track etc ..) or I need a dedicaced PC . and your price is ridiculously low ( a good point ! ) maybe to save money for another card ? 8^)
so we need far more powerfull dsp to fully enjoy devices like yours .

Hey Spiderman:
I don't know what you mean by eating a lot of dsp. I mean, you just said you have a P+, P2+ and SRB. I asume it's a Pulsar 1 a pulsar 2 and SRB, wich adds up to 23 dsps (?).
Have you ever tried another reverb for Scope? like the ones by DADev (are they still available?)
I only have 1 Pulsar II, and I´m more than happy with this device and it's results, wich takes only half the power of my card.
I think the p100 delivers the goods, and has a more than great quality/price relation.
And if this wasn't enough, it looks cool.

4+6+4=14 dsp
I manage a large quantity of tracks 24 and often more with the stm2448 . with vintage eq , vinco , delay , chorus whatever .
if I want a reverb for the snare , an other for the vocal , another for guitar for exemple i can't ( out of pci /dsp after only one P100 ) . ok if I use the masterverb but it's not at all on the same league as the P100 . so I prefer using external reverb . I would be happy to have a reverb dedicaced PC . but my old lpx15-2 do the job very well . I've test some vst reverb ( waves ) but I'm not happy with the result . I heard a sound with a reverb . with the lexicon I heard a sound in a room . as i've said this device is fantastic but I think the creamware plateform
is not optimized at all for reverb . the p100 demo I've tested didn't have preset so maybe it's hard to compare . i tried to make the same sound as the lpX15-2 big plate . but didn't reach the point . maybe it's me but the lpx15-2 seems wider . but as i've said it's not justice to compare this complex devices with no preset . but i have to say the p100 sound sweet and have the lexicon sound , no doubt
