I too would like a simple stereo recorder in Scope. Maybe I'd like it built into the mixers.
In the mean time, I've been trying apps like the Windows Sound Recorder, and the Yamaha Tiny Wave Editor. These are a little too fiddly, and I thought, maybe with a batch file...
I searched on free windows sound utilities and found "Silent Bob". It doesn't play back, but records 44.1khz stereo wav files with no backtalk. I made the file path to my desktop.
