connectin SBLIVE and Pulsar via digital (by matteo)

how can i connect a soundblaster live with digital out to the pulsar digital in? is there a particular setting to set? i simply used an rca to jack cable, but it didn't work (btw.... all the connections in pulsar mixer were done, but i could not hear any sound!)

and please: don't ask me: why do u use a sb!?

) i need another midi input and the game inport...

Hi!

Pulsar has to be switched to slave-mode. The samplerate should automatically switch to 48khz while this is the only samplerate the SBLive-SDPIF-out works with.
If the Pulsar seems to be unable to catch the signal try to turn off the master-fader of the SBLive in the standard windows-mixer. Once Pulsar has the signal simply turn it on again. It should work, don't know why, but for me it does

thanks to your reply now i made pulsar and SB communicate by digital cable, but i didn't imagine the samplerate would be locked to 48KHZ... this uses too much dsp and HD power for my projects, and so i think i will continue to use analog input/output...
