Hello!

I got the system workin by using ACPI mode (not multiproc), and it works great except that it is impossible to use more than one inserteffect in Nuendo (from Scope XTC). All instruments works without problems.

It's just when I add the second inserteffect it makes strange noises, and I am able to turn it off.
Then Nuendo behaves normal again.

I am usin SFP3.1C.

I'm currently using 128 samples / buffer.

Anyone know how to deal with this?

Best Regards,

jea

Matrox Parhelia,
2x UAD-1's,

1x Motu 828mkII
1x Scope Pro (15DSP) without I/O card

Hi.

I havent experienced your particular problem, but its generally considered best to use a CW Multi FX insert if you wish to use more than one CW plug on a channel in XTC mode.

Insert a Multi FX on your channel in Nuendo

Then insert your CW plugs in the Multi FX unit and see if that helps.

The Multi FX is found among your plugins under the heading "other"

Hi Nisse,

I have tried that, this works on one channel.

But if I want to have say;

channel 1 Vinco,
channel 2 Phaser,

the sound gets distorted ....

And it's the sound of everything that turns into garbage ....

UPDATE:

I installed a I/O plate from one of my Pulsar II cards, and enabled the I/O's ....

Turned off the MOTU 828mkII ....

Started the PC ....

I went crazy adding plugins ....

Not a problem related to inserts anymore!!

I'm going to bed with a smile tonight!

Sorry I couldnt help you more, but it seems it turned out allright anyway.

Kempefint!

By the way, did you just screw an I/O plate onto your scope card all by yourself. . ? Just like that? Is that possible?

Yes, I did....

.... as long as the card have softwareserials assigned to it (activation keys from CWA), it is possible to do this.
