JamMusic,

I agree with GaryB, the creamware stuff is *not* going to be the limitation. The person in the driver seat is. This is the most important point. You will not be able to blame the creamware hardware.

You might be interested to know that the new Fairlight DREAM mega $$$$$$$$$$$$ consoles use creamware DSP cards *and* the stock creamware effect algorythms.

thanx for participating

a lot of you misunderstood my request(spirit, nestor) I'm a creamware customer since tripledat that means more than 10 years.nowhere in my original post is mentioned a desire to judge anything or anyone my choice of creamware was made by my financial limit at that time for the best card and in fact had no choice..it was the same for pulsar I didn't want an external sampler so the offer of sts 3000 with pulsar was a real plus for me not to mention all the synths
I'm very happy with my choice
spirit nestor try to take time to understand the topic before a quick sarcastic and useless answer

but thats not the request at all I'm SIMPLY(sorry to say it loud but some seems to heve no ears)curious to know if there are hits made with cream and simply curious too to here about your tunes by happy creamware users
so I thanxs all of you who can make me hear their job if its possible
thanks firubi garyb ernest@303.nu for the links

Do you know the band Eiffel 65? They made a hit called Blue dabadi. Everything was made using Scope Platform (except from that "autotuned" voice).

I don't know it. Try do a grammy search in the announcements forum.
Information for new readers: A forum member named Braincell is known for spreading lies and malicious information without even knowing the basics of, what he is talking about. If noone responds to him, it is because he is ignored.

Hi Jam,
Not sure of why you want this information. If you want to compare your engineering skills using pulsar/scope then indeed do go to the music pages. Listening back to pro productions that have made the international forum is OK as long as you remember that it was probably mastered on some very expensive gear in a specially designed room for a lot of money.
The problem with CW is that it's not an industry standard. Most studios use analog tape and digital........You know the rest.
Good Luck

No, this so very importance. I also am to start a topic. It asks "how many big song hits have been made with blue guitars".

The "BMW 1 series" song is called "Principle of Joy" and was entirely produced on SCOPE.

Cheers, Frank
Hi,

just have a desperated request, and it seems only you has the answer.
We have this new BMW 1 spots on tv in Germany, and I'm looking for the song of it, obviously called "Principle of joy".
I've looked for it everywhere on the internet, and only found your message on this board relating to it.
Do you know where I can get the song and who is the band performing it?

thanks a million for any info you can provide!

best regards,
stéphane

is it that good? sorry can't help you, never heard it sofar, hope you'll find out, email BMW? sometimes things are more easy than you might think.
Hey guys, why so ultracritical to the question of JamMusic, it's just a everyday question, I don't see much reason to paternalize him...
I once discovered that a new cd of Madonna was created on a simple 16 bit home studio Audiowerk8 card, and yes it was mastered elsewhere.
But it opened my eyes about 24 bit hitech top gear systems etc.
That cd (don't know the name, let's say 3 years ago, the story about it was in German Keyboards) got very good critics to the sound of it...

It's just a question, nothing scientific principal biblish research starting queeste for the truth...

The song is performed by Thom. (Thomas Hanreich's solo project, maybe known as the lead singer of Vivid). AFAIK the song will be released when the car comes to market in september, it's not available at the moment.

I'm from Poland, so I can tell you what's in my region:
Last album of one of the most popular Polish rock group IRA was mixed using Pulsar & Logic (on PC). Album is called "Ogieñ" (in English - Fire).
One of studio in Polish National TV is equipped with pulsar cards and Logic (mac). This is studio for composing music for TV needs.
As well as some Academy of Music is equipped with Pulsar cards.
Big multimedia company AGORA is equippad with Pulsar Cards. This is what I know.

Hardstyle producers Uberdruck (a "big creamware card" plus Cubase is the core of their setup apparently), psytrance producers Infected Mushroom and Astral Projection, happy hardcore producers Devastate and Scott Brown.

Yep, AFAIK he did all the sounds for the Nederland 3 bumpers since the restyling. He does a lot of work for commercials, movies (Blade II, Matrix), production for other bands etc. He's very productive!
Dunno about him living in LA though, his studio is still in Amsterdam right?

There is also a band called Giftig you may want to check on the Creamware site that uses CW in their production.

Conqueror's Reign you really dug too deep (2004) :)

there is always Mr. Zimmer and the movies he makes- since he got his first Scope DP and the ball rolled to a more than 30 Scope mostly 24ADATs + the large amount # of A16 U

to see Mr. Zimmer speaks of his "secret weapon" rent the DVD version of Gladiator and watch the extra DVD.

mr Zimmer's got so many secret weapons that are advertised all over the place, it's sort of like saying James Bond is a secret agent. hehe.
