Is there anyone in this forum who has tried to run a CW setup in a cube/micro ATX box yet?
Bosqoue!
Cube PC and CW
meanwhile there are > 2 dozen such boxes available, so a general statement isn't of much use anymore.
When the first Shuttle's were released someone published his success in squeezing a Pulsar Two inside such a thing.
Myself I have a very small MSI system with 2 Pulsar Ones on a Twin PCI riser, sitting so close above the CPU that it requires an extremely lowprofile fan plus bending the bottom card a bit to get a capacitor out of the fan
The original 90W PSU produced lots of electrical noise and was replaced by an external fanless one.
Ok, the box is transportable, but hardly worth the effort I put into it.
Can you imagine to have a CPU, a metal cooler, a fan and 2 Pulsars one above the other in 3 inches of space ?
A nice rackmountable case in a 'rock-bag' like transport enclosure would have been much simpler to build
cheers, Tom
