This is good/useful one. But like Bosone said, perhaps saving DSP by disabling modules would be a good idea. Another suggestion: De-esser is usually a must have tool when working with vocals. Perhaps you could add one to this device

Thinking the order of modules.. I'm always using EQ before compressor, because EQ can change dynamic characteristic noticeably. Using comp after EQ, you can achieve better control over dynamics. De-esser is the last tool in my vocal chain. Compressors (and EQ as well, if boosting hi freq.)strenghten all 'Sss' sounds, so keeping it as last, it gives best efficiency and 'finalizes' the vocal track.

My personal opinion about the order of modules would be like this:
INPUT LEVEL KNOB --> HI/LO CUT --> GATE --> TUBE (+output level knob for this module) --> EQ --> DE-ESSER --> VERB --> OUT LEVEL KNOB.
I would perhaps leave the TUNE and MULTI modules out of this device. Though delay unit with reverb would be very nice. Also reduction meters for compressor and de-esser would be great. Looking forward to see your further development

In my opinion the audio chain must be like:
1.-Impedance adaptor with transfomr simulator, gain knob.
2.-Hi pass filter and tube simulator (a two valve stage simulator)
3.-Comp stage with soft, hard knee and mu detector.
4.- EQ, three band with analog feeling.
5.- Deesser compressor.
6.- Limiter with tape saturation and total gain knob.
All stages with in/out switches and VU's for gain and reduction levels.
Wiht and impedance adaptor with transform input you don't need Mic simulator anymore, this the goal in hi priced mic-preamps in market and a compresor with mu detector is the best way to treat a good voice.

tnx, brain1 - it was of course with a little humorous intention 
but I'd rather prefer the 'mic-shape' as an option only - those things tend to get annoying with time.
I have Ingo's little Fender amp sim, which takes 4 times as much screen estate as necessary and always distracts somehow, so I use it much less that it deserves.
From the DSP appetite of the device I assume you're serious with your approch - and the layout is a part of sales as well.
Some people get crazy from the light blue colors of a reverb alone
I do like those funny layouts, like the FreeMaryJane, Fender, your MicSim, Filther or the weird Delay 'tree' where red leave-'bowls' control the fx, but for dayly use those get tiresome.

Why don't u improve the multi voice section?
For example.adding a pan pot for each voice and a modulation via LFO or even via Envelope Follower.Without a modulation the multiplied voices are too much "robotic" and fake.
U can made a very interesting device,something similar to the Waves Doubler a great DX plug-in usefull for tweak voices.
I use it a lot and an SFP improved version sounds very interesting for my productions.

kwild - the link is only an image file- the DSP Mic 2.0 is not just yet ready - still working on a few challenges.
also - i am trying the pan ,envelope /lfo idea for the multi voice - but i am also needing a little help for this- haven't yet figured out how to route the signal into a working circuit- *any developers that know about modulating a signal with lfo or envelope's- please help -, it would be much appreciated for a tip on this..
