Hi folx,

i just called CW again ang gathered new informations:

1. Due the actual understaffed situation the registration on the new website will be up around Thursday
2. The SDK will be definitly not released at the same time. They have still discussions about the rights etc. so its still tba
3. The MOD2/III and the STS4000 will not be included for existing users
4. A complete new registration will be neccessary on the new CWA site to gather the actual emails, adresses, etc because many registered users are wrong in their database.
4. For this new registration CWA offers one plugin (not the packs!) for the half price.
5. I mentioned the not that up to date Website.. they will actualize it as fast as possible.

I hope i helped you a little with this new infos.

Keep patient and calm  ranting and endless discussions will not help us further

Oh Yeah, that it's!

The BonBon for the new beginning Time of CWA is an only redesigned but no updated program-code.

We are not really supported in the last months so it would be a little kind of niceless when they give (only!) one plug-in for free!

I think, this is not a very good start.

And don't forget: All the Products of the last CW before insolvency were selled out!

there are actually some bugfixes with SP4.0

also the CWA crew is much smaller now... but they try do to the best...

as i compared before... when you buy a car with some features and then some time later the company releases a new car.. you won't get the new features of the new car in your old car for free.. do you?

until then,

Hi Genocide

Did they say, if the reregistration plug at ½ price was a per user thing or a per card thing?

Thanks for the news Genoxcyde!
you're totally right.I'm working for
a main car company, and in exceptionnal
cases,we can offer something to a customer
waiting for "monthes"...but certainly not
a whole piece of equipement!It isn't a rule.
Anyway,CWAUDIO needs we trust them.
And relooking and packaging the range
of products is a smart way to target
new customers they need.
CWAUDIO needs to be known, and it seems
they have understood.
If CW become stronger, and i hope it will,
we will take profit of that.
Working on a mac with a so-called pc product,
i'm very happy with my 3.1c system.
So,i remain patient.

Thank you Genoxcide! Now that we have some information, I'm not going to complain anymore (unless they miss the deadline AGAIN!). The half-price plugin is a nice deal...I hunt around and see if anything fits in my limited budget.

I think, it would probably be rather easy to get around. So I hope it will be a per card thing for everybody.

Easy answer... U'll get one plugin of your choice (only Creamware plugs though.. no zarg, adern or other 3rd party!) after your ReRegistration at their new site... In other words. For your new Useraccount on the new site. Not for your cards or even other regg'd items..

For the Deadline thinggie.. I recommended CW to make their releasedates some sort of more "spongy" i mean not saying "around the 15." but saying "As soon as possible" or.. to be cynical "When its done"

I hope that helps

genoxcide, thanks for all the information. One more question, will the half-price offer also include plugins for Noah?
