Yesterday 5th of March, our band 'Absynthe Nitouche' made it to the 2nd round in the Emergenza contest! :smile:

Yes, i play soprano sax and Bass clarinet.

In that particular show, we were limited in time so i only played soprano sax.

But usualy in bars and clubs i play both. I prefer bass clarinet, more warm sounding and mellow feel.

But in a 'rock' contest, saxophone is perfect, i can have a cutting sound that goes in the mix, even with the drummer hitting like crazy :smile:

sounds like an awesome achievement, though I'm not sure what the contest is all about. So this is something like a "win it and get contracted" kind of thing? Or maybe a prestigious contest?
